I use it sometimes in a gravy , my other half hates it but sais my gravy is the best lol 🤣🤣

I love marmite, especially on crumpets with loads of butter, book looks great
It's very polarising, but I ❤ it! ... Mine is Aldi's version. I use it to "beef up" my gravy granules, and it's delicious on extra mature cheddar ... and I even eat it off a teaspoon. I love the delicious umami hit! 😋
The downsides are, it's VERY salty, and can have a slightly bitter taste, but I'm convinced it's nutritious due to it's rich dark brown colour!
A jar lasts me around a month, to six weeks, or so.
REMEMBER: Don't waste your money on Marmite! ... In a taste test, Aldi's came out on top! Give it a go!
I absolutely LOVE Marmite , especially with cheese.😋 Add it to spag bol too.,By the way warm your t spoon in some hot water makes taking Marmite out of the jar much easier.👍
If you have an oriental/asian supermarket near you Keith you'll get the pancakes there. Huge packs and not expensive. Some hoisin or throw in a little oyster sauce when stir frying would make a difference but would probably cancel out the marmite which is no bad thing😂😂 I do them wraps but I use satay sauce

Me, i love Marmite, great recipie. Probably would've just made a few crepes/ pancakes from scratch, as easy as flour and water whisk to a slightly runny batter, stand for 30-mins, then a thin layer of batter into an almost dry (minimal oil/fat) extremely hot/ smoking pan, flip after a minute, keep going until a stack is made.
Love Marmite. It takes roast potatoes to another level. 👍

I'm sorry but I don't like marmite. On toast, or anything is just used neat. However maybe used in small amounts in cooking just to flavour I might not notice.
