- Kyler Murray nearly completed a 4,000 yard season with 3,971 passing yards, and 26 passing touchdowns. He also added 819 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.

Yeah, his shoulder injury made him not want to scramble and get tackled on it, and it was only fully healed against the Eagles. Then he got that leg injury.

@Rich Sports Experience Kyler had 3971 passing yards this season with 26 passing TD's. He also had 819 rushing yards this season with 11 TD's. Next season, if he puts up 4500+ passing yards with 35+ TD's and 800+ rushing yards and 10+ TD's, that's a good improvement for a guy going from year 2 to year 3. But making the playoffs is a must next season.

Great leadership
Murray improved like crazy this season and I really wanted him to make the playoffs. He can run and pass and he's gonna improve with his passing even more which is scary. I tip my hat to him and hopefully he'll come back even better next season.

his first 5 steps aren’t human. when i rewatch the TD run against the 49ers at around 0:15 or so...the defender has the angle and is within probably 6 inches of him and 3 steps later Kyler has separated 3-4 yards. i’ve never seen anything like his acceleration.

I love Kyler's game, and he is still improving. Hopefully he can take the next step forward and lead a team to the playoffs.
He will need a top caliber defense if that will happen. I just wish people would see that you either have the it factor or you don't. Murray isn't bad or anything but he's a type of qb that needs everything around him to be successful but that really isn't a negative as I'd say that about 25 out of the 32 qbs starting in today's football.

The fact that everyone has given up on him is crazy, man had three really good seasons in a row, followed by a down year where he ended up injured. Still one of the best runners in the NFL with a great arm and dynamic playmaking ability off-script. He's not perfect but he's gonna come back and prove a lot of people wrong.
If he stays healthy he’s borderline top 5 QB (almost). He just needs to stay healthy. But he also needs protection too….

We have an oline. We had the number 1 oline passing and rushing for like 4 weeks straight. Our tackle is #1 in pass protection % this year. What we need is better playcalling by kliff, which hopefully in his third year he will improve. We also need cornerbacks
@@coladak5810 yea the corners are not consistent at all. The o-line isn't good regardless of what the numbers say they seem sub par on film. Even with all those things the penalties killed them all season on both sides of the ball
@@soonerbred22 if you watched a single cardinals games the oline was the last thing to blame. Kyler always had time. Screens on 3rd and 22, running in routes on a stacked box, are the reasons we lost so many games.
@@coladak5810 I'm not blaming the o-line by no means I'm saying they could be better lol. If anything I think penalties and play calling killed them. Queensberries called some great plays and he called alot of terrible ones. Just like the dbs his play calling is inconsistent. He has called for kyler to run the ball more than kyler has had to his whole career since highschool. Kyler has a pretty damn good as a passer. If they stop giving up alot of big plays on defense and be better about penalties and have a kicker that doesn't choke. They're in the playoffs this year those are all things they can fix in off-season. The oline is gonna take a couple years. It has improved a lot through out the season but if they had any other qb other than kyler their "numbers" are not gonna be the same.

Glad he isn't arizona doesn't deserve to be in playoffs they aren't that good. Murray is overhyped and for what reason? Tua same way. Fliz magic should be starting and the nfl likes to put these kind of players on a pedestal but in reality he should have to earn it. Example az was trash but they get Murray and all of a sudden a team is dumb enough to trade d hops for dj and kirk comes out of nowhere. The nfl wants Murray to succeed and out of nowhere az will go from 25th worst team to stacked just so Murray fans can drown in the hype. Kind of like pat mahomes. Hence why I only watch one game a week now instead of all day Sunday.

Dudes in his second year as an NFL head coach and only calls about 56% of the teams plays given the 44% no huddle rate (which would be plays either preprepared or called by Kyler himself) let both of them grow before calling for anyone's heads.

@@youso91 texas tech is insanely bad at recruiting because of the schools around them, add in that Mahomes didn't know how to read defenses yet and a really bad defense even for the big 12 and you get a picture of why Kliff had a "bad" college career. He's still gets a bit to cute with playcalls, but he'll figure out what works and what doesn't. I think he actually improved from last year, where in the first few weeks he had literally just installed his previous air raid offense, which resulted in *no* clock management, which works in college because you can simply outscore other teams, but doesn't work in the NFL when the other team can simply hold you off the field with professional players.

it was when he got that shoulder injury in week 11 vs seattle, then in week 16 he got leg whipped and then in week 17 got that ankle injury

I know Kiiff is upsetting allot of people, but we are the Damn Cardinals.... so if you know how we(Cards) are, they have to be trust the process and be patient with our coaching. Kliff is the only Reason why we went all in of Kyler Murry, and I'm happy the Cardinals stuck with their, "Decisions", for once in a long time. Im a die hard cards fanatic, but the way this season ended, will only make Kyler and the Cards so much stronger and hungry from defeat going into season. Trust this up coming year, and i believe the Sky is the Limit for our QB kyler and the CARDS!
