Thank you PS22 for doing what you do. I came here to tell you that your voices were played all day today at my niece Raelyn Cutbirth's Celebration of life ceremony. She passed away at age 4 from cancer (rhabodmyosarcoma). This was her favorite version of this song and so we celebrated her life by playing it during every part of the service. Thank you for bringing her joy and for allowing all of us to feel it today too. What your passionate about matters to other people, even if you don't know it. #rememberraelyn

Every time I listen to the ps 22 chorus I always feel emotional and have a knot in my throat and the occasional shower of tears of joy and happiness. Mr. B you have created a wonderful chorus and opportunity for elementary school kids to show their talent.

I LOVE THIS TEACHER giving these kids the gift of expression in music!!!! It makes me cry with pride for the whole group! KEEP IT UP FOR THE KIDS!!!!

My favorite part of the Oscars. I love the song Over the Rainbow. The enthusiasm of these 5th graders was amazing. All the movement brings the words alive. Visually and musically beautiful. Wow! What potential.
Congratulations to these students' music teacher who has a heart for kids and a fantastic musical talent. Thank you for bringing these young singers to the stage. I'd love to see them there every year.

This choir is awesome! I hope these kids take these experiences that they've been granted and use them as fuel to be the best they can be. I remember being in choir when I was that age into my teens, and those memories do not go away. Much kudos to the music director. Continue doing what you do, my man. It will be memembered long after we are all gone. Thanks for sharing your's and these kids' gift with us!

(hope that's right) What a fantastic teacher to encourage these young lives to carry and follow their dreams. I could only hope that my daughter finds someone as inspiring as you to encourage her confidence. Inspiring! beautiful work guys.
When I see teachers like you, it makes me want to return to the principalship. You are defintiely operating in your zone of genius, helping these kids let their colors burst! You, and they, have so much more to let out keeping shooting for the moon -- and, as the motivational speaker Les Brown says,"you'll at least land among the stars!"

ThIS IS a really good childrens choir!! (Not like the choirs in the "america got talent" show... they were more screaming...). And this children here, in this video, are really cute when they are singing! They enjoy it really (and they are good in it).

I saw these guys a year ago-they have really matured -diction, cohesiveness etc. I love the way they are allowed to move-most chorus' have to be so still in their white shirts and black pants- what a way to use up that 4-5th grade energy and nerves! I love them

Who else is watching in 2017?
I know this may not mean a lot, but I'm a vocal performance major in college and I thought this performance was beyond amazing. I have a hard time finding this passion in the singers I work with everyday! It really means a lot to see such a large group of singers at such a young age letting themselves experience music and perform especially when I didn't have something like that in elementary! I hope they never lose that magical feeling, because what you have accomplished is very beautiful :)

I think this is my favourite video on the whole of CZcams 👏I play clarinet, piano, and i'm quite selective with what i listen to as there's a lot of boring music out there-but PS22 chorus gets me right in the heart! You are all incredible and your harmony's make any song sound fantastic. When the soloist sings "baby you're a firework" that just sends amazing shock waves into my musical heart because she is so good! Keep going, music is amazing and so powerful and such a joy lifter! Fabulous to have a music teacher leading you to sing and express yourselves like that!
Wow! My coworkers watch PS22 videos whenever we are on break. It makes us all realize that there is still hope in this world :) and I am so impressed by the talent that can be in an elementary school. These videos help my coworkers and I make it through tough days at work...
