    Feedback regarding episode length:
please keep the conversations as long as they naturally flow. If a conversation flows for 4 hours, people will listen 4 hours. You'll have to feel for it, as you surely do.
    Great podcast btw

Thanks! That seems to be the general vibe I'm getting. ❤️
I''ll be much happier if I can let the conversation decide the length, so if that's what people want it's a great relief. 😅

Oh wow, I just started learning Elixir last week!
Elixir looks like a joy to work with, and seems like a language that has a well defined place to exist in real world applications.
Very happy to have this to look through.
    Also: Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

Amazing episode! Thank you all very much ❤
My take is that Episode Lenght depends so much on how the episode is flowing. IMO this one was ideal! Both of you kept it interesting all the way through... so you have a great inner "termometer" for that, Kris! Trust your gut 🙏🏻 thanks again!

Really interesting interview. I come with a preference for the OOP/OOAD and functional worlds, so it's interesting to hear the reasoning for functional language design decisions behind various typing, method/protocol, polymorphism etc. decisions. Don't know if this sort of interview appeals to Kris's wider audience, but for me it's good stuff. José reminds me very much of other iconoclastic language designers, such as Larry Wall, Guido von Rossum, Yukihiro Matsumoto.

Elix-eeahr. The accent makes the language sound very fancy!

I’ve listened to 4h long podcast episodes before! I find they’re very easy to pause and pick back up later so i don’t have issues with them being too long to hear in one sitting. (dunno if that would be bad for the algorithm tho?)
Loved this episode a lot, and this may be silly but I really appreciate you not mispronouncing José’s name; i’ve seen him say he doesn’t mind it, in other interviews, but as a brazilian it made me happy ☺️

      Thanks for the feedback!
And thanks, I did my very best to pronounce it correctly. I'm better with programming languages than human ones, but I try. 😅
