The guy you rented the bike from mentioned to wait a moment between turning on the accessory power before pressing the starter button. That's because the fuel pump is priming. It'll start easier if that pump has a couple seconds to send fuel.
I think this is the only part of the Philippines I would truly be happy in. Criminally underrated by foreign travelers and expats. It often looks and feels more like mainland SE Asia.
Thanks Ben. More to come. Took some testing and a little bit of a pain to run separate video and audio (I dont like the janky gopro setup with audio running off of it)
i finally made it back to Laoag (my hometown) in December of last year after being gone for almost 30 years! it is so cool to see the places you have been because they are familiar. Thanks for the content you make!
You're a hoot LT... It's nice you are so real & able to bring us along on these adventures. I never got that far north on Luzon. It's pretty cool to see these places~
yes. i think it is good for your first 3 months. after 3 months just go to the LTO and get a phils license if you plan to stay here. they will honor your california valid licence.
5000 a night is pretty expensive for the Philippines. Too bad they were booked so we couldn’t see what the rooms looked like. As always, great video Tim.
Hey Tim. Motorbike tours are the best. I’d love to do that if I get to the Phillipines. I definitely have to get my motorcycle licence. I’m keen as when that happens. How’s that slice of paradise you came across. Awesome beach mate 👍
Did you know that those windmill blades are traveling at a speed of 200 mph? The only reason I know is because I’m from Oklahoma and this is unfortunately windmill country. Keep up the good work Timmy Boy!
The new helmet cam and sound is great. Good to see you not trying to hold your camera/phone while riding. Would love for you to grab a clip on mic for you and Chrissy. Sometimes, it is hard to hear her. Keep it up!
6:30 I think she was just embaressed because of her English so she was shy and distant in the beginning. Probably didn't know the first thing you said so she was confused and shut down. Perhaps social anxiety due to English.
You don't know if that was her first day on the job though, maybe she didn't have any training in customer service before and then got scared? That could be a natural reaction to fear.@@GUITARTIME2024

That scene at the diner was kinda cringe, 😆. Anyways Tim who hasn't been a nerd at one time or another? Your self depreciating sense of humor is a very attractive quality, enjoy your adventure.
Great video! Are you going to Sanchez Mira in Cagayan Valley? If you do, I'll tell my stepson to meet you at the restaurant I told you about and I'll pay for lunch!! Komendor in Sanchez. Beautiful beaches there and in Claveria just to the west of Sanchez Mira. I also recommend North Shore Resort next to Claveria. Keep the videos coming!
I went to Tacloban a few weeks after Yalonda and all I saw was disaster. Never saw any disaster to that level in my life, spreading all the way to Burauen. Took a bus from Manila to Pagudpud, very long ride. Stayed at Pagudpud Beach for a week, saw the windmills too. The place was like your experience, not many people there but I have to say, the beach was nice, water very clear, bought fresh fish from the fishermen as they brought them to shore. Nice peaceful quiet place for the time I was there. Very relaxing.
Tim is riding the Rusi Classic 250. A very affordable bike. This is the 1st volg I have seen with someone on this model. I can’t wait to see how he likes it compared to his PCX.
Tim, I don't know what's going on, but I haven't gotten a notification or seen any of your videos since the Vegas trip. FYI. Had to search for this one.
This side of PH seem like they dont like foreigners much.. I have had some issues up here with rudeness and scams. I will be heading more south soon. It is too weird and uncomfortable in Northern Luzon (Ilocos)
bigmike....U R spot on I can tell U as a matter of fact. I won't be returning to northern LUZON. Thanx but NO thanx. I DIS-LIKE those northern LUZON PINOYS. They R different from the other FRIENDLY PINOYS elsewhere in P.I..
He does not have to learn it. The native language in the island he resides is not tagalog. There are 120 to 187 languages in the Philippines. Majority of them are not dialects of each contrary to what Filipinos themselves claim. Tagalog is a different language spoken in 8 to 10 provinces in the island of Luzon. English will do as well.
why seems to me prices in ilocos are so expensive? for a 3 in one coffee really 75 pesos? and that environmental fee for a falls in ilocos it is 200 pesos?
Interesting seeing areas in the Philippines, I never made it to. I was stationed at Clark AFB, 90-91. I also made a port visit to Cebu. But the furthest north I ever made it to, was Baguio.
Can you call them to book in advanced. It was a long motorcycle trip just to go there and have no rooms available to sleep. Not that many people on the beach and it looked not that buzzy. Nice sunny day.
tim you know i have firends here in usa that still has famaily in that part of luzon island. tim i have been to jade beach California and was chest deep in water and still was able to see my feet the water there was really blue too back then it was that was back in 1977 when i and my two firends took are bikes for a ride down the cost of California on highway 1 back then right after we had graduated from high school what a trip to do when you were that young back then. even if i took that same trip now it jsut would not be the same as it was back then in the summer time after all it was the sumer time of the mid 1970s.
That was fun Tim, thank you for taking us along!
Thanks for the support
Cool content Tim awesome landscape enjoyed watching the video.
My wife is from Iba. She said the lady where you got coffee, was shy. No very many cano's there.
We just travelled from Botolan to the same beach, Tim k beat me to it.
i think she hates me.... who are you? scotty "regular guy" boy?

"I cannot get out of here fast enough." 😆
Thanks for your efforts on the content and travel adventures
As always great to be along on your Adventures!

Hi Tim, great video mate 👍 really enjoyed it 👍 take care bro 👍
Hello Tim 🌻
Good to see you again . .
You really made the best of your situation during your travels 🌅
Was there last year with my wife …. I couldn’t pronounce it either…. She kept correcting me and the locals just laughed!
Living the dream Tim just living the dream. 🙏🙏🙏
I am starting to see different vlogs by the couples of their daily experience and then combined ? Is this the new world??
Very enjoyable. Looking forward to the rest of your travels mate
Thank you for sharing with us this video. Great video and beautiful scenery.
Man you are so lucky to be able to ride thru the country like this, be safe and enjoy, will be waiting for the next video.
I think this is the only part of the Philippines I would truly be happy in. Criminally underrated by foreign travelers and expats. It often looks and feels more like mainland SE Asia.
It’s pretty good.
This will be a fun series. Thanks!!
Recovering....what's with your homosexual picture?
Heck yeah the audio is so good on that helmet setup, Tim. Love these road trips and views.
Thanks Ben. More to come. Took some testing and a little bit of a pain to run separate video and audio (I dont like the janky gopro setup with audio running off of it)
@@TimKyoutube oh wow nice. Always proud of you for uppin the production game. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 And that beach is crazy nice!
Wow what a gorgeous blue calming water, so perfect.

Absolutely great sir thank for the video
everyone heads to boracay or palawan yet luzon has this beautiful area i wanna go there one day
What a beautiful beach and area! Looks (relatively) quiet and I prefer to be close to and not on the beach. Looking forward to your progress, Tim.

Thanks so much
Holy smokes. You're my favorite PH vlogger by a long shot. You make me laugh Tim. Keep em rolling
cant see why, but thanks!
Pagudpud... my wife's home town. Looks like you got some good weather. (It can rain for weeks at a time up there, yet still be sunny 🌞 in Laoag.)
Tim I have a California drivers license can I use it there in Philippines to drive a bike and or a car?
yes. i think it is good for your first 3 months. after 3 months just go to the LTO and get a phils license if you plan to stay here. they will honor your california valid licence.
Very helpful video! Do you know what would be the closest airport to that Hakuna Beach at the end of the video?
Laoag Airport. Check out my first video in the series.
@@TimKyoutube nice thank you!!
Glad u had a great day out there exploring on the Motorcycle! Water looks very inviting! Enjoy and drive safe Tim !
Thank you. A little hot but beautiful.
Prefer to Boracay or Siargao I like quiet and deserted
5000 a night is pretty expensive for the Philippines. Too bad they were booked so we couldn’t see what the rooms looked like. As always, great video Tim.
Pay the day rate to use the facilities and then camp in the 'weeds' at night?
Yeah but only 6 rooms. like some kind of exclusive private hotel
Myself , would of walked out of thea. Not very welcoming that female at coffee ☕ shop... what side of the bed did she get out of
Great show thank you Tim. Love the beach have a great time.
Love the bike travels Tim. What are you using for audio mic?
Tascam audio. Generic mic from Amazon.
$90 USD a night to enjoy the TIP. Yikes
Yes it seems too expensive and what they provide is purely the location , not good bang for buck!
They gave Tim the white bot price! It is prolly 1/5th that for locals.
90 for 2
@@packohub1145 But poor Timmy was all alone so $90 for 1.
Tim, visit Palaui Island in Sta Ana, Cagayan if you are still there. If I'm not mistaken, Survivor(US) season 9 was filmed there.
My favorite vlogger. I love the adventures with you. God bless you always Tim.
I love the north west and east..thx for bringing us along.
The video content is very good, very attractive to watch
Hello Tim. Thumb up avanture, trip, travel, see the world! Have a beautiful day in the Philipines. Bye. Rudi.
Ilocanos have a different temperament. They are not as talkative but are hardworking
I saw rudeness.
@@GUITARTIME2024not everyone in the Philippines speaks English, it seemed like she really didn't understand.
@Lonewolf_1776 then you say "I don't understand" I doubt English was that foreign to her. Especially being somewhat younger.
thanks for the ride Tim show more
Tim my man pots an pans enjoying the good vibes an times well done Sir well done !!!!
Are you not 'scared stiff' if your motorcycle breaks down (somewhere in the middle of those long empty roads)?
Snow.....R U not scared stiff of your own shadow?
Hey Tim. Motorbike tours are the best. I’d love to do that if I get to the Phillipines. I definitely have to get my motorcycle licence. I’m keen as when that happens. How’s that slice of paradise you came across. Awesome beach mate 👍
I think here if you have a car licence you can drive a motorbike. Just make sure you are careful, 1st world help is not always close!
nice i enjoyed your vlog about ilocos norte keep it up
Glad you enjoyed
Ive been watching some of your vlogs its interesting about travel😊
hoi tim gouda hier hebben ze een hekel op dat gedeelte aan mensen die westers zijn ? .
Did you know that those windmill blades are traveling at a speed of 200 mph? The only reason I know is because I’m from Oklahoma and this is unfortunately windmill country. Keep up the good work Timmy Boy!
I mistakenly thought it would be over populated with lawless people. Boy was I wrong.
The new helmet cam and sound is great. Good to see you not trying to hold your camera/phone while riding. Would love for you to grab a clip on mic for you and Chrissy. Sometimes, it is hard to hear her. Keep it up!

Loved the beach but surprised they were booked for place looked empty.
did you pass a place called sexy beach when you were going from the city
Very nice spot. Nothing like just cruising and experience the local colour. Be safe bud!
So agree with you Tim about the wind turbines 👍
maybe shes exhausted coz hot temp in that area. try to visit Laguna and RIzal they have lots of waterfalls and good beaches..
