That lady pottery maker explains her craft very well. I love her enthusiasm.
The Intro, the music, the gongs, the sound (of nature), the narrative, the voice tone, the enthusiasm, the video quality, the macro effect, the lighting, the slow Mo, the transition, camera angle, the sound of the wooden weaving machine as background to the narrative, the description of the food, all about the pottery... and its connection to the people of Sagada... ugh! everything is raw and natural. you can actually "feel" everything in the video. your videos are well thought and really on another level. its NatGeo / BBC documentary quality. Thank you for your effort of putting such a high-quality presentation for us.
"...cultural neglect and ignorance can cause damage" - Meet the Nomads. Thank you for promoting the Filipino Culture.
Wow. Just wow. Thank you for paying attention to every detail. It truly means everything to us. Wow weâre speechless. We truly enjoyed making this video. Another great film is in the making which will take a lot longer than usual as weâre running out of time also shooting another film but weâll get there. Quality is always over quantity for us. And we thank you for your patience. đđ»â„ïžđđčđ„
Your channel and vlogs are severely underrated. Been watching your Philippine journey and all your vlogs are of good quality and Neli has a beautiful aura. If you viewers agree, you should definitely leave a comment and like the video/s. Better yet, subscribe. They are deserving of it all.
share it to your friends in fb or what ever social media. Its' what I am doing to help them.
Hi Iflip,
Itâs an honour making great films for you and thank you for the love and support. This is what keeps us going. Sharing the films with others can help us tell the story to more people. Appreciate it đđ»đđč
Appreciate you so much for doing this. đđ»đč Means a lot â„ïž
Aside from being inspiring bloggers, you are actually very good cinematographers. I love the way you capture lighting. The slight underexposure makes for a soft contrast which makes a strong vivid presentation.
Yeiii we canât stop smiling reading all of your beautiful comments. So proud of you all for the love of nature and culture. Thereâs so many good human beings out there and this makes us so happy. Youâre our fuel. Itâs an honour making great films for you. Another one is currently in the making đđ„
You guys "Meet The Nomads", vlogs are educational. I never knew about the weaving of patterns, color use, fiber and the taste of each tribes in color and material used. The natural ambient sounds is amazing, crystal clear when mixed with the editing audio. Nice to see that you made your video a bit longer then in generally, I think doing so will get you more subscribers. I know editing takes time, hard work, adding a few more minutes on your vlogs is what been missing, and what are viewers looking for; so appreciates all your hardwork for it.
Hey Rob,
Thanks for taking the time to write to us. Itâs an honour to keep the culture alive and tell you the story. We have kept this video longer and pleased you enjoyed it. As long as you watch them to the end weâre happy to make full documentary films. đđ„đč
The Editing and the Vlogs itself is like a documentary or movie. Keep it Up. God Bless and Take Care.
Thanks for being with us Jay. Stay happy and healthy đđ„đč
This feels like a family album, it felt like I was looking at a family's holiday more than a travel vlog. The atmosphere of Sagada feels more like a retreat , laid back people and one with nature. Being there feels like being closer to heaven and the pottery. It feels like a spiritual experience, giving your full attention without being stressed. Creating something out of clay, I loved the interaction of your daughter with the pottery teacher. A teacher proudly seeing her student succeed. Safe travels and new explorations ahead.
Hi Pau and thank you for being with us on the great journey of Sagada. Itâs a truly special place. You need to go there. Peaceful. Quiet. Happy place. Here you can reconnect with nature. We had so much fun making pottery. Stay happy and healthy
Another great film is in the making đ„đ
Sometimes, finding a bit of sense and purpose in this world would take us a lifetime. Many gave up in the process. But I would like to believe you have found yours, Colin and Neli. And doing the things you love with your family is indeed worth all the while. đ Thank you for sharing this with us!
Itâs actually probably the second most important thing after health. And yes weâre happy to say we have found our purpose and it is to help humanity and nature and keeping the cultures alive by making great films and causes. And proud of you all for supporting this. We couldnât do it without you. Stay happy and healthy đč
The lady who offered you a coconut is a very famous FILM DIRECTOR in the Philippines. Bb Joyce Bernal!đ
Yes!.. i also recognised her.. đđ€©
Weâll take it as a blessing đđ»đč
Philippines is so beautiful †mountains... Villages... Beaches... People..foods.... Churches... God bless you đ you are lucky miss đ
This was like some kind of TV special from BBC or NatGeo...well done! The gentleman explaining the weaving and the lady presenting the pottery process are so concise and articulate in their presentation, kudos to them as well.
They are doing a great job of keeping the culture alive and weâre honoured to share it with you. đč
Wow! Your vlogs are very informative its like watching documentay or movie. I love it! Stay safe and healthy you guys! Enjoy PHđ”đ God bless!
Pleasure Jeremy. Thank you for being with us. Stay happy and healthy đđ„
It feels like I'm watching a Nat Geo docu. Very nice.
Pls keep it coming. I really love your vlogs the way you present it is really amazing .this is more of a documentary than a travel vlog and I love it. Thanks for digging deeper to any topic and making it educational as well.
Pleasure Marlon. We enjoyed making this one. A great film from Buscalan is in the making đđ„
@@MeetTheNomads can't wait :)
Finally! Been looking forward to this travel vlog about your experience high up in the Cordilleras and, as usual, you didn't disappoint. Among all current vloggers doing the Philippines, yours is the one I look forward to most. I love your slow-pace and how you try to bring out the best of each location, not only through Colin's excellent footage and editing, but in your interactions with its inhabitants and through Neli's calm narration about their history and highlights. The weaving and pottery-making parts in this vlog were especially epic and I was really impressed by how well-versed in English the gentleman and lady were while explaining their crafts. BTW, I love the word coinage: "VLOGUMENTARY." While it looks like it has already become part of the English lexicon, I first heard it from you! đWell done guys!
Thank you for your patience. Making great films requires double the amount of time but we wouldnât be happy to release average films because of time. Even though we could take triple the time and make this film a masterpiece. Thank you for the attention to detail. Truly means a lot. So happy to hear from you. Another great film is in the making. Itâll take longer than usual as weâre currently shooting another film too. See you again soon đ„đđč

Loved visiting Sagada back in xmas 2014. The road had just been surfaced making the trip much more comfortable! I still have memories of the lemon pie. One of my favourites! It is a special little place that needs to be carefully managed and preserved.

The video is so solemn like the area, peace and unique in a beautiful way, i like it.
Pleasure. Thank you for watching
Cinematography is đ„
I love the videography, the absence of unnecessarily modern music, just the raw natural sounds and the occasional serene subtle ambient instruments which captures the essence of the place. I really love how you guys produce your videos because it allows us to live the moment. By the way I've been to Sagada and I'm getting the right vibe from your videos. Cheers and God bless to you guys. P. S. the lemon merengue pie was tempting đ
Good to hear from you Raymond,
Thank you for the appreciation. We had some time to plan this film and it paid off. We truly enjoyed making this one. Sagada is stunning and the people in it are beautiful. We were so lucky to hear the local drum play and to see the people dancing. Sagada is about lemon pie haha itâs everywhere. The best one we discovered though is sold on the road a building pass the tourism office. đ»

It was a good feature, especially having a family activity by doing pottery. Nana was so amused and happy on her work. Did you also do the other Sagada attractions like spelunking cave Sumaguing and visiting the Bomod-ok falls? Sagada is so laid back, life is simple but its so beautiful! I could agree more on your last statements, you did a fantastic job on immersing yourselves on the places you have been. Its like knowing or meeting a new person, you would know the story and background! Splendid job by the way! Nice music background as well, fits the theme of this feature.
