@@RembrandtRasmus Bruh how can you love it like seriously the story is bad, the AI sucks (even fucking LEGO City Undercover AI is better than that sorry excuse of an AI), physics are unlike anything I've ever seen (except maybe for those GTA mobile ripoffs you find on the Google Play Store), graphics are not that good (Horizon Zero Dawn for example has way better graphics than Cyberpunk), and on consoles (which have bigger market share than PC) the game is riddled with bugs and still unplayable on base consoles.

No they're not lying, I literally had 4 bugs in my 90 hours playthrough, I don't know why, but I just didn't have that many bugs. I understand this game can be shit for others, but for me it ran pretty well. As for the other things that are missing from the game, yeah, here I agree. It's basically witcher in a futuristic city, the game is cool but you can't really roleplay that much, or customize literally anything.

sure they will fix the bugs. but what about the AI, wanted system, car chase, make street kid-corpo-nomad be useful for the rest 95% of the game, same for dialogue options, etc nonsense they fed us but didn't deliver? when you do a crime the cops that appear behind you from thin air is not a bug. this is how it's programmed to work. same for when they chase you for 15 seconds and then leave, and for not chasing you with vehicles when you drive a vehicle, etc. are these gameplay problems gonna get fixed? press X to doubt. they will fix the bugs and say: "the game is playable now. go play and leave us alone".

Quit playin a bit after launch because of all the bugs so I decided to try it now that it's completely bug free on pc according to fan boys. Very first mission I did this mini-boss enemy bugged out and just stood still while flashing in and out of existance until I killed him. In the next cutscene the city outside the window of the car kept going from dark to light in a buggy way. This is on a ryzen 5600x and 2060 super so I can run the game on high with over 70 fps. Copium hitting critical levels.

It's not about being a fanboy or not. Every game has these inconsistencies between players. Some people have insane ammounts of bugs some people don't. Out of my 120ish hours I had 10 MAX visual glitches, one crash and died to environment (ex. jumping on a fence, fence breaks and I die). I am on a R5 3600 with 1080ti. Just because I had a much better experience, doesnt make me a fanboy lmao.

@@sweeqydreamsnl If I thought it was a shit game, I wouldn't have played it for 120+ hours. People had different expectations. For me it's The Witcher 3 with better combat. I do agree with shitty AI, physics and police system. The thing is, you don't really deal with the police like, at all? Even if you hit a civ, you can just run away from them and they are not going to chase you because if you read the shards and lore in game, police have done some fucked up shit and they are definitely not the good guys here. For me it was the immersion, the world itself, lore, combat, characters, story and the godlike OST which like I said same aspects where The Witcher excels at. Witcher doesn't have good physics, police (guard) system and A.I but for me its the best game after Cyberpunk right next to Nier Automata.
Even 2 years later and this still happens. I still daily find areas where you can glitch through buildings, where textures are missing, experience physics that cause fall damage from 1 meter or less, bugged out enemies, etc. Sure it's far less than in the launch months, but it still exists. And the core gameplay is as empty as ever. AI is non existent. You can't interact with anything. Everything that happens in the game is pre scripted. It feels like you're a spectator in your own game, rather than a player.
I like Cyberpunk for different reasons, but post story immersiveness is not one of them - which is really sad because immersion was the by far biggest selling point they have been trying to push with their marketing.

That has nothing to do with the end result of the game. I don’t see how a celebrity cast necessitates a poor product. The only argument I can see is that it leads to lots of hype, but CP2077 wasn’t a slight disappointment, it’s a fucking mess, mechanically.

I don't like the story that much either, but I fail to see how Keanu was the problem, at least a bigger problem than the writing, incessant exposition, and production of the story and cutscenes.
It also isn't a definitive causation. There's plenty of shitty games without a big name celebrity or celebrity cast so I don't know where this idea comes from.

Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to be released in April 2020. imagine if it did. someone tested the game and said: "yup. it's ready to release. announce April 2020 release". Hello Games studio flooded and they lost lots of data and they couldn't delay the game for 2-3 years. but Cyberpunk 2077 had no release date in 2019 when Mike Podsmith himself said that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released when it's ready, and yet the game was released while it wasn't ready. they could easily come out and say that the game has issues and has to be delayed. the overwhelming majority would be ok with this since most people said "take your time. we can wait" as a response to what Mike Podsmith said. and i don't wanna hear about "death threats". this nonsense doesn't make developers release games faster.

Not defending the game but the game wasn't developed in 7 years, rather 4 years. When the game was announced CDPR was working on the Witcher and only until late 2015 and early 2016 is where true development began as CDPR was busy making DLC's prior to 2016.
