Just remember kids, whether it's Exynos 9611 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, both are useless when you limit both with 4GB RAM.
Heavy One UI on 4GB RAM (with 2.5GB usable) is a recipe for disaster.
Imagine running Windows 11 with an Intel Core i9 but 4GB RAM. I hope you get the idea.

iPads have a lot of limitations plus the apps are specifically written for iPads, that's why the RAM requirement is little lower.

I got this tab in June 2023 for Rs. 29k. I use it mostly for studying, notes taking and sometimes gaming. With the s-pen included and Snapdragon 750, it is great. Display though 60hz, is superb compared to other non-oleds, and the size is just right, not too big but good for multimedia consumption. Battery life I'm getting is about 5 days after a full charge. Build is premium with metal body. Also, Samsung Dex is a plus.
At 30k price, there are other brands with many more features (but don't have pen included), but the after sales and reliability of Samsung was the deal breaker for me.
And no it is not at all outdated in 2023.
You paid 30k for this in 2023? Dear Lord. I also use Samsung S20 FE 5G, Tab S6 Lite (sold now) and a Galaxy Watch 4. But I'm not a blind Samsung fan to recommend it in 2023, especially with 4GB RAM.

Pad 6 does not support GPS, so I still decide to buy S6 Lite while local promotion price is lower than Amazon.
Lite 62 2022 has changed the CPU to Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, CPU performance Increases 150% and GPU increases 160%.
No performance is definitely NOT 150% faster with the 720g. I'm sure you haven't watched the video as I have talked about the 720g version as well.
And no amount of CPU can overcome the limitations of 4GB RAM.

Xiaomi software UI sucks poor optimisation of software 🤢
One thing of note here would be the fact that Xiaomi's software support record isn't the greatest.
Samsung's One UI is great for Tablets.
But Personally I don't consider that as a pro when the underlying hardware cannot keep up.
And in general for Android, I don't care much for software updates. If the software is already good, I don't care about the new version. My Android 9 Asus Zenfone still works perfectly fine.

I prefer good hardware with reasonably good software over trash hardware that gives poor experience even with good software. The experience counts the most and trash hardware gives poor and laggy experience.

What I am stressing is, due to many influencers, people are purchasing underpowered Samsung phones by giving the justification that it'll get 4 major OS updates and all, when in reality they are better off and will get better real life experience for a longer time when going for a properly powered Iqoo or Oneplus or Realme or Xiaomi phone.
What Samsung has done is, they have streamlined their software update process and is able to save cost instead of giving proper hardware for the money they charge.

I bought the S6 lite a little over two years ago. I was really happy with it. Two days ago it suddenly went off, the screen went black and you couldn't turn it on anymore. Despite charging, the screen remained black. The warranty ended 20 days ago, repairs are almost as expensive as the purchase price. According to the repair and Amazon reviews, this often happens exactly after 2 years. It's a real shame because it didn't fall down or get wet and I was really happy with it otherwise….

I can get the Tab s6 lite 2022 for ₹20400 with a student discount and a one-time purchase. I think it is worth it since it is mainly for note-taking. At 20k I don't think spending 10k more for an Mi pad and a pen is worth it in my case. What do you think?

I don't prefer iPads..plus paying extra for the Pen is another pain point.
Tab S6 Lite is primarily good for notetaking but like I said in the video if you open multiple browser windows you'll start lagging - notetaking is still smooth but overall experience will be laggy.

Problem is not with Snapdragon 720g. Problem is with 4GB RAM. It'll last 10 years but it'll be 10 years of bad experience.

I was actually confused between s6 lite and pad 6. Although i knew that pad 6 is far more better and my budget was of around 30k but i dont know if I'll use the tablet for longer run or not. So i thought s6 lite will be better as i can get it in around 20k now. I'll most probably use the tab for two years and will completely switch to laptop. But even then i want to know like..if s6 lite is not a good investment and if for two years 30k will be worth it. Like pad 6? And how's the note making experience is on pad 6? Buying an Android device with 4GB RAM in 2024 for 20k is just stupidity.
Get the Pad 6 for 26k-28k and use it for many years, it has a fast USB port which can do display out upto 4K60 and also you can use apps like Super Display to use it as an external monitor.

Mi 6 is a good option but the pen is not included it's 6k. I have to use tablet for notetaking and attending lectures and literally nothing else. I understand the ram is 4gb but i feel gravitated towards s6 because of the s pen. Even a budget buy 4+128 is 28k on sale and m6 is 33 with pencil. Also its no where available. I am very confused.

From your comments, you have a biased view on getting a mi pad 6. I got the 2022 version of S6 lite with 732G snapdragon and ot worls pretty well especially if u have a samsung phone and have dex function. Mi pad 6 doesn't have that. And samsung is a good brand with knox securities system.

@techstation365 For the price point it is capable to do most of the stuff other S series tabs do and a plus point is the S pen comes along with it which is not a case for Mi pad 6. And the 2022 s6 lite version has 4 yrs software support unlike mi pad 6 since samsung is known for their stable software support. Furthermore， s6 lite is more portable due to its smaller size so u can bring it anywhere on the go. And samsung notes is way superior compared to other android note taking apps especially with their Samsung tablets. The feeling of writing on samsung tablets are way better than any other tablets out there.
And about the external monitor function, u can use smart view and connect to a TV but for this price point, it's not really necessary since most people buy it for mite taking purposes.

That's how I enable second screen with my s6 lite
USP's are pen, DeX,size and price. The 2022 model did €249 when I bought it. Nothing comes even close at this price.
The main USP is the S-Pen.
Rest of the features are dragged down by the performance. 4GB RAM destroys the experience.
The Mi Pad 5 and 6 are literally the same price.
S6 lite with bank offer comes under 20k with S-pen I guess if u wanna study and wanna enojy movies only it is worth buying cuz 20k is worth it and even it has no cost EMI for 1900/ per month... (20k bcz of 4k HDFC ban discount)

Check if you're fine with that. Also, I've read that the s8 comes with a better s pen compared to s7. Check at least a couple reviews on youtube before you decide.

I do not have any idea on Xiaomi's note taking app. But it should be pretty good. There are many other notetaking apps as well on Android.
But you have to buy the pen seperately. The Xiaomi Pen is also quite good.

Yes it lags. RAM gets easily filled up and starts lagging when opening a couple tabs in a browser and having something like CZcams/Notes open.

@@NoOne-qb2hr Samsung Notes is excellent for note-taking. Google docs too is good. But you'll not get the full MS Word experience on Android or iPad.
So for casual use, yes you can go for the Tab S6 Lite. If you don't want to use the Pen, then go for Mi Pad 5/6 which is much better than tab s6 lite.

Tge Tab S9 blows away all competition. The Tab S6 Lite is fine for the target audience. I don't think Samsung is complacent at all.
The Tab S9 - has no competition as no one is making premium Android tablets or making them available in the global market.
Plus why would you even buy an Android tablet for such an expensive price when you can buy high end laptop + pen tablet for the same price. What's the point of high end tablet with Mobile OS which barely has pro apps.
The Tab S9 Ultra costs the same as a full blown Asus ROG Flow X16 with Ryzen 7 6800HS+RTX 3060 and is also a 2-in-1 with pen input.
Samsung isn't complacent at all? So what about the scam Tab S9 FE which is worse than Tab S7 FE in every department apart from RAM? Why did Samsung drop USB 3+DP from the Tab S9 FE and also removed external dex when it's available with Tab S7 FE. Why is Samsung using Exynos 1380 which only "theoretically" matches the 2 years old SD778G in the Tab S7 FE?
Why is the entire Galaxy S24 series basically a software update? Apart from the processor which is an expected update, why is the S24 only 'matching' the 4 year old S20 in hardware while losing MicroSD? Are we just supposed to pay for software updates now?

Hello everyone I need some recommendation. I am a student that needs tab for study and note taking(maybe sometimes game) purposes. But I'm still confuse which tablet or to buy. My budget is around 60k. Please can anybody recommend me which tab should I buy?

For me Tab S6 Lite is a wrong investment. Buy Mi Pad 6 with the 2nd gen Pen is far better.
Hi friends I would like to say that if you really need a stylus nothing worth buying than Samsung tablets with S pen I have used the S6 Lite for 1 year and yeah there was some lag but believe me it's not a thing that will make you hate the tab
I tried the matepad 11 after that and you know what I'll say s6 lite is better in usage yes the matepad is much better in numbers but .... go and try the 2 tablets in official stores to know what I mean
Samsung knows this very well, so Samsung is still selling it.
Rather invest into Mi Pad 6 and pay 5k separately for the pen a few months later. Far better overall investment.
Anyways I have sold my Tab S6 Lite as it was dropping in value and was too laggy for my usage after 2 years.

Even the Snapdragon 778G Tab S7 FE is trash because of 4GB RAM.

For me S7 Plus is definitely worth it. Tab S8 Plus is not even that much better due to overheating Snapdragon 8 gen 1.

@@techstation365same experience....ipad battery sucks after 1 year....and battery replacement cost 11k....also very restricted use...you have to sacrifice so much in ipad as compared to tablet bcz ipad don't support so many functions like whatsapp....or telegram direct video stream...and so many things....
iPad is more focused on performance and Samsung is more focus on display

No you cannot. It doesn't have display out through the Type-C Port. I have mentioned it in the video.
If you want this feature, go for Mi Pad 6 (from Samsung it's Tab S7 FE which I don't recommend due to 4GB RAM or Tab S7+ and higher).
What about S6 lite 2022 model.with snap dragon 720?
Tab S6 Lite 2022 with 720G or Tab S7 FE with 778G.... both are not recommended with 4GB RAM.

Buy 6GB RAM model atleast. I recommend Mi PAD 5 or 6 atleast. If you can't afford then buy any other tablet but 6GB ram model.
I can get the S6 Lite or an S9 FE, but it costs twice as much. Do you think it's worth the extra?
I only want Samsung tablets since I already have a Samsung phone and Dex is a must and no other brands have such polished desktop interface, most don't even have it.
I could also buy something in the middle, which is a Ryzen 3 laptop, but tbh, I want to take notes and I already have powerful Windows desktop, plus I don't want a chonky heavy laptop that can't even take notes or let me write in PDFs.

Tab S9 FE? You mean the latest Samsung Scam? Do you even know that Samsung Tab S9 FE lacks features which even the Tab S7 FE packs?

Software update se kya hoga ye sochiye. Kuch hota hai software update se? Software accha hai hardware accha hai.. bohot smooth chalta hai aur kafi features hai.
Don't worry about software updates. Only CZcamsrs hype software updates. My Android 9 Zenfone Max Pro M1 is still absolutely fine. It still supports everything.

I am getting this tablet for 19000 with Snapdragon 720g on Flipkart right now should i buy it at this price or should i go for Xiaomi pad6 but it doesn't include pen my preference is online class and note taking my budget is around 25 k..
Bro just use pen and paper. Save for a better tablet later. You can get the Tab S6 Lite and then the 4GB RAM will surely bite you later.
