Not gonna lie, they had me in the first half. Should’ve known the Panthers would find a way to win, they’ve only been doing it like all season. Verhaeghe has been the hero of this series.

The "bad washington team without a goalie" cleared 100 point mark for the season in a very tough Eastern Conference and is the best road team in the league. And if you are still on the "6 fan" charade - you should have your eyes (or brain?) checked.
Right, South Florida has fans? How many YEARS has the team played to almost an empty stadium? Now you all want to jump on the band wagon because you have a team that wins. if you want to see REAL HOCKEY FANS. Take Buffalo fans. They have had teams for so long that are just plain bad. Yet they go to games and support the team. Same goes for many other teams/fans. Panthers DON'T have fans who support them no matter what, good or bad. Never have.

But while Madrid have had a few big comebacks this season (basically the last three Champions League ties), the Panthers have had a much larger number of huge deficits to claw back throughout the entire season. They have consistently done it...and so I stand by my view that I haven't seen anyone do this before. Not like this.

Prime example, all 5 players standing around ING like where's Waldo in front of the net (literally) while two panthers aggressively trying to get a goal which they succeeded. It's not over yet ....the caps been in this situation before remember in 2018 they come back from 0-2 In the Columbus series of the first round playoffs and win 4-2..now I hope they do the same thing against Florida.

I'm willing to bet right now that everyone who had prediction of certain playoff series first round matches have most likely been all wrong about they predictions. I bet people predicted the Caps to win and look how the Panthers are doing. Even Colorado has advance the second round. This by far has been one wild first round series of all current teams playing. I definitely like to see the Panthers advance the second round.

That missed empty netter at the end of game 4 which would have given them a 3-1 lead with Samsonov FINALLY playing good?! Wow, what a missed opportunity!!! Thats when I knew, no 2nd round for us :(

I saw things differently. The panthers didn’t really find a way to win. What happened was about 2 or 3 key mistakes by the Capitals that caused turnovers in their zone and allowed panther forwards to dress the play up from a 2 on 2 to a 3 on 1 or a 3 on 2 with the center trailing. You can’t make turnovers in your zone in the NHL the speed of the game is unforgivable and these players will bury those opportunities. I think the Capitals played tonight, similar to how Edmonton did with their turnovers and it cost them the game and the overtime.
Man, when Tom Wilson got injured game one, Cats fell asleep. Caps havent been playing great either. Looked like Cats woke up midway this game and did a Trademark Comeback. Hoping they wont lift the foot from the gas 😼
