They look like they have a 245 small block. Nice detailing on the intake manifold, too. May not be built for speed, but the torque on those are exceptional.
Most are lowriders, too. We used to have one like that but high rise and using a big block engine. Workhorse for the rice and abacca farms back home.

Sana hindi ma phase out ang mga iconic Jeep..Si president Duterte lang naman yan ang may gusto kasi para makapasok ang Chinese investor sa Philippine transport sector.
Idk bakit gusto nila yung mga mini bus, ang requirements lang naman ng government is high ceiling and euro 4 engine. Dapat i upgrade na ng mga operators and manufacturers sa ganyang specs ang jeep nila kung ayaw nila ma phase out.
Crowded po kasi at masyado magulo ruta ng Jeep, unlike pagnapalitan na ng bagong transpo. magkakaroon na ng maayos na ruta at may particular area ng loading at unloading, di ka mag para/hinto sa kung saan saan. May Mapa ka, di yung tanong ng tanong kung saan sasakay
