I wonder what a speedrun of the LoTR easter egg would look like, cuz its not as long of a way but i feel like if you messed up one of the jumps near the end it could probably be a big time loss
it would make more sense for the sake of the name of the run I guess but that would just add unnecessary loading screens and make the run more boring and less fun

I was hoping you could answer a question for me, tried searching online but dead forums were no help. If you change the manufacturer from say bandit to vladof in gibbed, do you need a vladof grip to get matching grip bonus? If so I assume you get the vladof bonus instead of the bandit one?
This was great and a fun idea however i would've liked it just a tad bit more if it were true to name. Someone else mentioned spawning in the Bunker map, but also the save quit to spawn at Overlook instead of having to rocket jump across the Highlands was kinda lame in that regard. Yeah it saves time but it defeats the purpose of the run 😢
how come sometimes people rocket jump looking behind them and other times looking straight down? is that just a routing thing? does the direction not matter for speed purposes? like will you always be launched with the same speed regardless of where the rockets land? also is there a difference between shooting both at the same time and doing one at a time to save ammo? and the run ends by mining that one block instead of going to where the creepers are?
okay time to explain stuff. Saving ammo: This is imposible, since your rocket jumps will not be as powerful to give you speed boost and you wont be able to fly longer cuz of that. Which means you cant shuffle click to save ammo (slowing you down, this is speedrun) Camera position: I think its obvious. Looking behind you=speed boost, looking down=maintaining speed/gaining altitude, looking forward=slowing you down.
edit: never mind, the rules for this run are a set route even though it might not be the fastest way literally everyone else does this route so hopefully not lol, that would be funny, I'll test it later. you'd have to travel the whole dust

why count loading times?
we dont count loading times to make it fair for people with slow pcs or play on console
would it be faster at op10? I think that's allowed based on the rules
you can use any op level you want for geared runs, it doesn't really matter for this category though
