it cracks me up that Dan dresses himself in such muted/dark tones but gravitated to your brightest pieces while dressing you 😂

As a guy I really identify with this, bright colors often don't feel like they would look good on me. But if I was dressing my partner, I'd almost certainly go straight for the bright colors. Probably this has something to do with societal expectations of masculinity that go away when you're dressing someone else.
EDIT: Well, it turns out I'm not a guy. Joke's on past me, I have a wardrobe with brightly-colored dresses now :)

I'm dying. He asked "what activities are you engaging in?" which is something I never ask myself when I pick out my wardrobe. LOL isn't that wild! That is the smartest most practical question when it comes to getting dressed! I love it!

Suggestion - pick the 5 items from your wardrobe that you wear the least. Style each and wear for the day. If you don’t love it by the end of the day, donate the item. Sierra Schultzzie did a similar video, and it was great!

Had a similar idea! I recently styled some less used pieces in a new way and now I'm wearing them more often 💕
The advantage of having an entire wardrobe of orange and yellow clothes means that matching things should be pretty easy I guess!

I really enjoy seeing just happy content like this. Just a happy couple, being lovely to each other. No drama. This is exactly the kind of content I need with the world in the mess it is currently.
I’m so anti marriage thanks to the fact my now ex wife and I are going through some ridiculous drama right now and we were barely married for two months. Then I see couples like this and remember people can be happy with someone else. But, I love being a single workaholic mum too much to even think about even casually dating for like..... 10 years? 🙃

I mean, personally, there are days where if hair weren't a concern I might wear a hat but I choose not to because it would mess up my hair and cost me the time it'd take to fix it when I take the hat off, but that's probably not the issue under consideration in this instance.

I loved this video so much, it's exactly the fun light-hearted video I needed this week! 🧡 And do love the HanDan fashion pro tip that when in doubt, a bunch of yellow/orange stuff together will look good!!
Also because I'm barely 5ft I have the same "issue" with those Lucy & Yak trousers and their shape. I roll them up a bit and either wear them with a tight top or (some very specific) tucked in jumpers
yeah looking back on the footage I think the orange trousers looked great on my when I was just in my bra so I think there is potential but I need to style more to my petite shape on my upper half for it to work!
@@morehannah for styling those in the cold you could wear warm leggings under and do a tight turtleneck. My favorite way to style loose bottoms is a tight turtleneck, it makes my boobs look fantastic when I’m wearing a good bra.

The orange trousers are so chic though! I think with a black long sleeve mock neck top, or a darker rust brown maybe too, or a dark teal perhaps. Or a graphic tee, like a band tee or similar. They're like 70's trousers but with a bit sleeker modernity to them as well 🧡 This was a super cute video!

A classic slow fashion challenge is the 10x10! You pick ten articles of clothing and only wear those for ten days. Of course you make your own rules (do shoes count? do jackets count?) but it's always fun to see what creative solutions people come up with and how they curate the ten pieces. It's like an extreme capsule wardrobe.
Honestly, I love this video just for seeing how Hannah and Dan relate to each other, make decisions, support each other, etc. So nice to see!
I like when people do micro-capsules where they curate a little collection of clothes, like 10 pieces, and just mix and match as many different ways as possible. I think I've seen both a week and a month with this challenge.
I mean this in the nicest possible way: is Dan colourblind?

depends on the fit/style. i have such a tough time finding jeans that fit properly, but, when i do, i find them quite comfy!

Slow fashion challenge idea: Wear Summer Items for a Week in Winter
You seemed to really enjoy that Dan tried to turn your spotty dress into a winter outfit, so maybe give it a go with other items you'd usually keep exclusively for summer?
It's good idea for slow fashion as well, because if it works you've basically doubled the use you can get from your clothes!

As someone who's wardrobe consists of 98% black it was quite interesting to see styles incorporating so many colours. For some reason that just never struck me like that before.

Haha I felt so bad for Dan yawning all morning while trying to actually put some thought into choosing the clothes in terms of your activities, the weather and your style. This was all over amazing though :)

Really loved Dan's approach to this! He could have just picked easy to style items like jeans and plain jumpers but he really went for it with the crazy patterned pieces and still tried to make them work. I love how the outfits got progressively more unhinged (in a good way) in the first half of the week. I actually loved the patterned blouse with the rainbow trousers! Would have actually loved to see the the striped trouser under the dungarees though. I think he may have been onto something with that.

I snorted when Dan picked a third Lucy & Yak item for the first outfit. I discovered their brand when you first showed off those rainbow striped trousers in a video, I am now obsessed and have a bunch of their clothes.

I'm tiny (5"2) with a similar body shape and have mixed feelings about wide-leg trousers, but honestly it changed my life when I started rolling them up (same for arms on oversized tops/shirts/coats). Now I always try pieces in charity/vintage shops unrolled and rolled before I decide if I'm keen. Most of the time I find rolling tapers wider cuts, which then makes pieces fit my frame much better. Personally big fan of the rolled up aesthetic and def recommend rolling up those orange pants before passing on them!
I honestly loved the Wednesday, Friday and Sunday combos? Especially the Sunday one! I think the pants silhoutte looks good on you and the combination with the funky jumper was really nice

The hanging clothes are yellow, orange and black. And perhaps some other colours, but mainly those three.
