Wow! Dr. Laurie, you are beyond inspirational! I couldn't agree with you more, I believe life really is all about our spiritual journey. I am super excited for you! Connecting with nature, taking in the beauty and serenity of God's astonishing creations... what a wonderful way to live. Sending you love and prayers for the best life possible. If you ever find yourself in Central Indiana, it would be an honor and blessing to meet you in person.
Best of luck to you and your husband and Daisy!
Thank you so much!
Dr. Laurie, medical trained professionals grounded like you are & understanding WFPB & Vegan living, the way you do , with it’s true connection to lifestyle medicine, keeping us all healthy , while respecting our connection to our planet and yet still following the science& Personally stepping off the treadmill not just makes a difference to people like me (60 yo Crohns IBD living in Ireland) but to anyone who can join up the dots or even serendipitously stumbles on your work, your message is hits home.
For me if there were medals for bravery or n CZcams you get gold silver & bronze.
Listening in Cork, Ireland to my new fave nomad 💚 don’t doubt your choices and decisions not even for a moment 🙌
Ah, thank you for your kind words! I have a lot of Irish in me. Hoping to make it there to visit someday.
@@DrLaurieMarbas well we are a country of 1000 welcomes and in Cork, you will feel like you’ve already a friend. 🤗 you are a total treasure, you tell hubby I said he’s a lucky guy & to kids , they’ve been blessed.
That’s so cool you went nomadic, 4 years ago I converted my van and have never looked back I love it. Traditional Dr’s have failed me many times I’m not saying Dr’s are bad just uninformed. But I’m saving for a stay at True North Health Center can’t wait. But appreciate you thank you 😊
Awesome!
I don’t know if you remember me, but I was your patient at PBT and I’m still seeing Dr Scheuer. My husband and I are spending the summer in our motorhome in Alaska. I insist on keeping our ‘home base’ in AZ but we are gone a lot of the time. More power to you!
That’s awesome!!
What a great message! Thank you and happy travels!
Thanks so much!
Wonderful. I feel the same way. Plants, nature, much less ‘stuff”. Am in the process of getting rid of a lot of unnecessary things. The more minimalist I e come, the better I feel on so many levels. And, helping others to get out of an industrial and capitalistic system. To help myself and others actually become healthier is a joy. And to hear this philosophy from a doctor gives me hope. Lora
😊❤️
Welcome to the lifestyle! I thoroughly enjoy it. 🥰🤗
Yay! Thank you!
Very interesting! Lots of doctors wish they could do something like that, but the change seems too overwhelming. With so many bills to pay & childcare issues, the idea of living in an RV seems impossible. Yet, they wish they had more time for conversations with patients. The health care system is always pressuring doctors to go faster and faster, to generate more billing codes. Almost no one is following outcomes.
Yep
I love hearing about how you reached the decision to uncomplicate your life and I enjoy following your journey. I really appreciate your genuine character and authenticity.
Thank you
So cool. As an RN for 35 years I’m tired of the corporate grind. We are buying our first RV and we are in our 60’s. We are looking forward to being away from the noise and more with nature. I’m a quilter and am not ready to let go is my fabric. My husband and I both quilt and give away most of what we make. The idea of giving something to comfort someone else is rewarding. I’ll be taking my sewing with me along with our dog Maui. Peace! Happy Travels.
So cool!
Love it! We have almost gotten to the same place. We have a small camper van with our mountain bike bicycles on it. We absolutely love it. We keep it very simple and have so much fun!! Blessings in your travels!!!❤
Thank you
Congrats. My husband and I have lived a simple life the 3 decades we've been married to the side eye of the many 😊. We have been very happy and continually are happy. We are new to the WFPB lifestyle. I found your Channel through an interview you held with Javant. Thanks.
That is awesome!
Thanks for sharing Laurie! I love hearing about people's lives and "Reblooming" as it's called on a podcast I listen to. Enjoy your nomadic life, and glad you can still work with the tele visits.
I love reblooming!
Thanks for all you share and for giving of yourself! Your new way of living sounds peaceful. Blessings on your journey.🌷
Thank you so much!
Your story is refreshing - Thanks for sharing and enjoy your journey! Being WFPB as much as I can, I feel great at 65 but sad for others close to me that don't understand. Doctors like you help me have confidence to continue and just be an example to others.
Wonderful!
Ohhhh happy travels to you and hubby!! You can’t beat being out in nature!! I have realized in the last number of years that stuff is like an anchor weighing you down. Congratulations on casting off that anchor!!! Enjoy!!
Yes! Thank you!
Awesome! I am SO inspired by your creativity in finding a way to live your life in such a win-win fashion! “To thine own self be true!”
Thanks so much!!
It’s great to be able to let everything go and live a nomadic life with self paced lifestyle and medical practice - it takes years of hard work to get there, right? 😊
You make as hard as you want it to be and apparently I like to make things hard so took me 53 years.
YES--Spiritual life is the most important
Amen
I’ve learned so much from your videos and feel in control of my health now, not fearful. You’re a wealth of knowledge and I so appreciate learning about your background and journey. Thank you and I will be reaching out to you when I need assistance.
❤️
So inspiring! What a doctor! We are blessed to be able to hear from an expert in medical field who can speak candidly about the system and the way it is. It’s the same here in Canada.
Hoping things will change as more of us opt out of the madness.
Thank you Laurie ❤
You are so welcome
This was really inspiring to hear and I feel like I’m hearing it at the exact right time. For the past year I’ve been living out of a suitcase. Lately I’ve been searching for a more permanent apartment and I’ve just found myself dragging my feet through the experience. I can tell a part of myself has truly appreciated this period of my life where I’ve been able to live more simply and not accumulate as many possessions. I do miss my Vitamix, though 😊
Ha! So appreciate the Vitamix! We just got ours out after a month. Smoothie is so good

Amazing story! I was in the Army and I do miss the medical care - not having to worry about insurance forms and paperwork. The doctors didn't seem so rushed to get a patient in and out. Have a great journey and good luck! :)
Thank you for your service. :)
I am so happy for you and us! 🙂
❤️
. . . you are absolutely one of the most amazingly inspirational "angels" here on earth....firstly, your "super human" life accomplishments are beyond incredible; and I am so, so happy for you & your great courage to venture out into "the unknown " to follow your true passions . . . God Bless You So Much for being such a huge blessing to our country . . . 🥰

Haha! Thanks
@@DrLaurieMarbasand THAT makes you a walking testimonial!!!
I have to let go of a lot of things. I'm retired with limited income. I have to learn to trust - if I need something, God will provide.
Always
how do you keep residency to vote --get drivers license etc
3 states are domicile states: SD, TX, FL. We got our residency in SD within 24 hours.
I certainly understand why you NEVER want to work for someone else. My Gyno Dr left because of the politics
Yep
