Cliff under a Tree, or CliffTree for short, is a world generation datapack that adds new biomes to the Overworld and bringing a fresh touch to some existing ones, all while maintaining the spirit of vanilla.

Looks close to vanilla, while improving on it. Those few shots gave me the impression that this could be the first worldgen-modpack convincing me to play with it, I'm keen on learning more!

This is *really* pretty, I love how this looks! It also has the benefit of (As far as I can tell) not using unnatural blocks in generation like how Terralith does (Stuff like dead coral on mountaintops and campfires under geysers), which makes this something I would genuinely use. I love this! :D

this loooks so sweet! it seems like it's gonna add a lot of simple yet great variety to the world. even with the amazing new caves in minecraft, everytime i make a world it feels like i have the same experience with the same giant cave more or less. so having that be more varied and interesting would be really nice!

I’ve been utilizing Terralith + William Wyther’s Expanded Ecosphere (WWEE) + Navigable Rivers and some other minor structure gen stuff to lightly liven things up while maintaining a very vanilla feel. This looks really cool! I’d love to see if it’s drop-in compatible!

There are people out there who are able to make entire updates in a week using datapacks and they took 8 whole months making just one structure, sure it is really high quality and I'm a fan of the 1.21 update but deep down ik that mojang could've easily done it in 2-3 months and perhaps updated some old structure in the time left.

idk much about datapacks so like; can you add this to an existing world? and if you do does it work properly or does stuff break?

Unlike mods, datapacks just take the game’s code and rearranges it to make something new. It should be totally fine to add them to pre-existing games but this one affects world generation. It might be better to make a whole new save for it. If you’d like to try anyway though just make a copy of the world you want to use first, just in case.

iirc yes! you just need to generate the world in singleplayer with the datapacks you want, then upload the world to your realm
