Well to be fair, celebrity’s who get their clothes off the runway get their outfits TAILORED to their bodies. That’s weeks of visits to get it just right before the big event. Models back then got a safety pin, 15 seconds to throw in on, and have 1 second to say a prayer. That’s why they needed to be thin because they only had one standard size.
That last dress was PERFECT. The crazy in love dress, she looks GREAT
But I didn’t like how she styled the hair

Models are basically human mannequins, they’re meant to make the clothes stand out. Zendaya’s case is the opposite: the clothes are meant to make *her* stand out.
She could wear a bin bag and still pull it off tbh
That, and runway styling is super different than red carpet style. On a runway, the styling is meant to reinforce the tone and mood of the collection. This often means it’s editorial or experimental and not trendy. It’s also supposed to look cohesive across the whole collection, taking into account all the outfits and the overall message. Celebrities styling is theoretically the same (setting a tone/conveying a message or image), but there’s generally a larger focus on beauty makeup and styling meant to compliment the single garment and the single person.
That, and zendaya and other celebs can show more personality/life in the outfit than a model can on a runway

they literally pick the models based on the clothes, they don't just throw something random on them. you have to remember that the designers want the clothes to look as good as the models want to look in them.

The difference is, that it’s the models job to present the garment for the client, and make the dress look good without bringing too much of their own personality to the look; - but celebrities and other friends of fashion choose the dresses that bring out their own personality in the most flattering way.
So models dress to make the garment look good. Others wear dresses to make themselves look good. ^_^

The amount of anxiety i got just by thinking how difficult it would've been to keep the dress on its place... IT'S TOO FREAKING UNCOMFORTABLE
As someone who prefers being covered in layers of long and flattering but rather covering stuff, these would probably give me a panic attack. At least the first one doesn't even look bad, it's beautiful even, but first off, I couldn't move my legs and that's a no go, and secondly, I'd constantly panic about something slipping and exposing everything. I don't even like bikinis because of belly and leg anxiety, I'd die in one of these.
That last dress though😱. Not gonna lie, I saw it & thought, “ how’s that fashionable, it looks a bit trashy”. Then Zendaya walks out looking sexy, yet somehow sophisticated Goddess. It left me perplexed😵, but honestly, only zendaya could’ve pull it off this perfect👏🏼👏🏼.
