Hello, I am from India and I had completed my MBBS in 2020 from Osmania medical college, Hyderabad, India and I am interested in doing psychiatry training in the Uk. I need to know the different pathways available for me. According to my knowledge I know only 1 way and that is Full GMC registration by passing PLAB exam. Are there any other ways that I can do psychiatry training in the UK? And to whom does the NHS give CoS? Does they give for IMG's who had completed Full GMC registration or to any other person who is capable of working in the Uk health care system?
Hello! Thank you for your comment, you would need to get full GMC registration either from passing the PLAB examinations or by obtaining a GMC approved post graduate qualification such as MRCPsych. :)
