What really intrigues me the most is the fact that yeah this is for kids but it has so much lore and drama to the point where a older audience can also enjoy it too
I agree, I started watching this show from day one. I somehow knew, the lore was going to get good, when Eclipse came into the picture.

Honest thoughts: I love that Sun is shown being angry near the end of the video, Sun is usually happy and tends to get upset and cry easily, it's nice to see that ppl portray him as having a spine and that he has real feelings
The genuine heartbreak and worry in Sun’s voice is so good, I’m so insanely invested and it’s a large part to Davis’ acting

And listening to the conversation again, it seems like Moon is especially angry at his brother for losing control of Eclipse because Sun *always* had control of Moon himself. He said it before, if he wanted to so much as *blink*, he had to fight Sun for it. Whereas, Sun has been *struggling* to reign in Eclipse for almost a year now, if this has been going on since July 26th.
Moon asked if Sun lost his will just because "another one" showed up, and... I think he is. I mean, really, how would you feel if you had been fighting so, *so* hard against something for five years, then you thought the fight was finally over only to soon learn that no, it's not. It's just reached phase two.
Also, it's a different fight.
A lot of people theorize, and I _agree_ that Eclipse is using Sun's own emotions against him. Sun admits to sometimes having bad thoughts, but he wouldn't do them... But Eclipse leverages those to give him control. While Moon was entirely something outside, something separate trying to pose his own actions; Sun has his OWN emotions being used to overwhelm him into giving control.
There is only so much a person can take.
@@FluffyDragonDrawing this has merit to it too! Remember, one of the main rules Moon gave to Monty when speaking to Eclipse is to not make Sun mad as to keep Eclipse under. Any strong emotions Sun have will be used and weaponized against him.
Ah. I wonder if later on having Lunar in his head helped Moon understand that while the SITUATION is similar, the METHOD is new and unique, and that it makes fighting MUCH harder then when the two of them, Moon & Sun, were together.
Okay, let me see if I got this right. Eclipse is Sun's urge to commit violent acts without conscience or consequences. He gives Sun permission to do things he wouldn't normally do and give him an outside force to blame. He could blame all the bad stuff on Moon, but with him gone, he needed someone else to blame. He created Eclipse to be the new scapegoat.
Sun always views himself as the nice one. The one that would never purposely hurt someone or just be cruel in general. He denies that he even has negative feelings like that and it's spiraled into this mess.
Golden Freddy was right. Sun needs therapy. Moon needs help too. They both need to learn that having violnt urges doesn't mean you're a bad person, but it does if you act on them.
I think Golden Freddy would have noticed that thought, Maybe that's what Eclipse was to start with; but not anymore. From Golden Freddy not being able to tell; to Eclipse _ruining Sun's chance to have a realationship with Roxanne?_
There is no reason Sun would have the urge to change her personality so she wouldn't be interested in him. Eclipse might have started as some kind of scape goat, but he's clearly something else at this point.

@@FluffyDragonDrawing I think that Eclipse was at first a scapegoat but then things happen and like what golden Freddy said Eclipse was rooted too deep in his mind and because of the abuse of moon saying that you're not working hard enough to get rid of it made him think that moon doesn't need him and that cause him to go so far as killing himself if everything doesn't go back to it was cuz without Moon he made Eclipse to trying to replace moon and it just got to far, to the point he's going to snap and kill himself

To be honest, Moon really scared me for the first time in this episode…but it is understandable considering he was nearly losing himself. And I feel sorry for both of them and hope that Moon won’t get killed if he does the spell eventually…

Yeah I was actually proud of Sun for finally standing up for himself, but at the same time it's hard to watch the brothers fight like this. More so I'm worried for Moon now, I don't want him to revert back to his murderous self and become a monster, I love him too much to see that happen to him...it would break my heart to lose him like that. 😭💔Also yeah Happy 4th of July!

re-watching this and I have to give HUGE Kudos to both EC Universal and InvisibleDavis for delivering such amazing, emotional performances. Despite the VR avatars not having expressions aside form the fixed smiles; the VAs really do a good job through the Motions and heir Voice acting to add that extra layer of character emotion to the story!

@@Squishystar Sure. Dramcatcher is sort of like Moondrop, but he's capable of not getting caught as he goes on his mission and he is more reasonable in conversation. Heartthrob is a tiny bit like Sunrise, but he's super sneaky and is able to contain his excitement to an extent. And Stargaze is somewhat like Eclipse, but he doesn't enjoy seeing anyone suffer, and instead he studies the threat and tries figuring out how to neutralize that threat.
As far as I can tell, from following this series since the beginning. My initial theories about Eclipse have been right from the get-go. I really think Sun doesn't only have victim mentality problems (understandable given his history with Moon) but I really think Eclipse has pretty much been confirmed as not a separate personality or homicide code at all. At least not initially. If Moon and Eclipse are one and the same, then Eclipse having no purpose for his carnage doesn't make sense at all. Eclipse...Is Sun's baser impulses. If Eclipse really happened after the split... Eclipse is just Sun's way of relinquishing control and not taking responsibility when things get too hard. I mentioned earlier in the series run that Sun needs more hobbies outside of just his work on the show otherwise he'll just have a mental break.... Well... he has. Multiple times. Eclipse at this point is Sun's way of not owning responsibility and feeling "lost" after his brother split from him. Considering how he formed.
that means if sun would turn human "Eclipse" would still be there . what if this means Sun is trying to kill himself
Those are both very interesting theories, and I think that it does indeed make sense. If Eclipse was in fact there since the beginning, and Sun was giving him control so he doesn't have responsibility, then that means that Sun was aware all along, and doesn't need help getting control/away from Eclipse. Sun could just give Eclipse "control" whenever he wanted someone gone, and Eclipse would take "the blame" for Sun, if anyone ever found out. Therefore Sun remains "inoccent looking." If this is true than that means Sun could have countless murders on his hands, despite Eclipse "taking control" of him. We don't know how many Eclipse has "murdered" so there is no definite way of saying it was just a few.
Man that was a lot! There is still more I'd like to say but don't have correct wording for it. I will come back and edit this once I go over the video and a few more comments. I need to collect my thoughts...
Edit: Oh God! So I went to rewatch the video as I said I would, and as I was watching the second time I realized something at the very beginning. Eclipse wants the "Newton Star" for his own reasons, right. If what I said earlier was true, then that means it's not exactly Eclipse who wants the Star... it's Sun. Sun could be far more intelligent than he's letting on, and he could be fooling us all making us think he's "not smart." ( sorry) My only concern is why and what Sun would do with the "Newton Star." Why does he want it so bad that he threatened to pull out his wires and threatened Moon with only 3 months time to give it to him? If he wants it so bad, then why would he give 3 months ( a bit of time) for Moon to hand the star over instead of just taking it? If Sun knew about the star, then does that mean while Moon was "alone" working on it, that Sun was awake/aware? Does Sun mean to rewrite everything for his own personal reasons, is there something in the past that he wishes was still there?
There is still more I would like to say, but I still need time to collect my thoughts. I will definitely be editing this again later. I just need time...
Edit #2: So I just noticed this, but Eclipse told Moon and Moon confirmed that he trusts Sun. Maybe that's all Sun needs, is for someone to trust him and prove his inoccent nature, instead of just saying "Eclipse took over."

Well I was thinking, back at one video where they were watching fanart stuff (the first one) and that there was Eclipse coming out of the arcade and Moon asked Sun, why he was always around that thing. So I have maybe a feeling that, that has something to do with it? But your theories might also be the case. Likw what Sun already started by saying "What about the show?" That's the only thing he thinks of.

I feel bad for both Sun and moon. Moon because he is doing everything he can for Sun not to get hurt, and now he is trying everything he can to help everyone at this point. he keeps talking about his urge to kill and How he acted in the past but DAMN he is doing nothing but good things right now, and isnt recognizing any of It... wich is understandable considering no matter what he does things keep getting worse. of course moon is loosing Control! he's being put on too much pressure and im sure not even a robot can handle all that stress

Moon is yelling at Sun for getting upset about him not wanting to talk about trauma. I understand where Sun is coming from and that's hard, expessially when the memory's bring so much pain you can't control what happens. I cried during this. The acting is phenomenal you two are amazing at this. The story is amazing, the emotions are there (I'm still crying writing this) amazing. 🥲👏👏👏
This whole government curveball has really amped the stakes up to eleven. I like how Moon clarified that this story arc will culminate specifically during the spooky month.

OH MY GOD I ACTAULLY CRIED! This channel has me HOOKED on the storyline, and I can't stop thinking about whats going to happen next. Sun did a good job trying to stand up for himself but stuff like that takes practice, trust me buddy. The fact that I witnessed Moon being the madest I've seen him makes me sad. I honestly hate these parts in stories where there are fights that tear the characters up inside, but then it leaves room for characters development and the "finale". I feel so bad for these two brothers and wish I could protect them like my own brother. I love this channel and cannot express it enough!

My heart dropped watching that, even my headphones cut out a bit so I couldn’t hear as a break from it- good video but it hurt to hear Sun tear up while basically getting scolded/lectured by Moon

This channel continues to impress me with this storyline. This eclipse arc they got going on is so enjoyable and entertaining. this episode even made me scared and hurt with all these emotions the characters are feeling. God Suns voice actor is so top tier with how he talks like sun and then would switch to eclipse.

Words continually fail me when it comes to expressing my wholehearted admiration to the level of skill and the sheer level of *effort* you guys put into your videos. The acting is phenomenal, the story is phenomenal, *everything* is phenomenal.
I didn't expect the brothers to snap at each other as hard as they did, but I do think everything they said *needed* to be said. Both of them are at their limits, and they need to work out the bad blood between them before it's too late. They have to stick together to make it through this.

I think they both need therapy, for different reasons. If Eclipse is just something Sun hides behind for his bad behavior, he needs to own up to that OR Sun needs to get stronger to fight Eclipse. Moon needs to have more self control and needs to be more open emotionally, for his own mental health.
Ok, For real, Whenever Sun started yelling out his parts and told Moon to shut up multiple times, I actually Cried. Basically never heard Sun yell like that and talk like that.

You know, say what you want about the Sun And Moon Show, but behind the ill-timed sound effects, cheesy dialogue, and the overused idea of VR settings and V-Tubers...there is a genuinely intriguing story going on. On the surface, it may seem like another kid's CZcams channel, but the story behind this is very interesting and engaging! Great job, Sun and Moon! You have me hooked! Great video!

Damn, this really getting intense. So what I'm understanding that this whole time is Sun's hidden murder rage and truth? Since Eclipse code is very small.
Jesus fucking Christ, this episode was SUCH a gut punch!! So intense the entire way through- the emotions felt raw, so much so that I felt a number of emotions myself. When Moon said he’d unplug his brother without hesitation my jaw went slack, then when Sun snapped BACK at him my jaw hit the floor!! I can’t help but be so worried for both of them as Moon begins to lose himself- let alone Sun’s developments lately…
It’s all become so layered and gotten so INTERESTING, I’m so invested at this point that I just can’t get enough! If you told me a month ago about this webshow with two v-tube avatars based off a game franchise- I wouldn’t have thought anything of it. But good fucking god this LORE is going so deep and clearly has so much passion poured into it! The commitment from everyone involved has been nothing short of incredible. And never fails to either leave me in utter awe/shock or with the biggest smile on my face.
This episode was not what I expected at all, but it has me eagerly digging my heels in to find out what happens next.

If Moon made his own body is there a chance of him being able to make a new one for Sun as well? If he could isolate Sun's coding and move it over in the same way then there's two possibilities I see right away- Either it works as stated and Eclipse is left alone in a body that could then be reset with the Newton Star, or it would leave behind some of Sun's code like how Eclipse was left and it could possibly balance him out? That or Moon could program the Newton Star to reset Sun/Eclipse only and restore Sun's memories and such after, making sure that Eclipse is wiped out first or at least now in a state that can be more safely handled and removed/contained
Remember though from when Freddy and Baby were told. Sun or Eclipse can't leave it because Eclipse doesn't want to. "You could potentially rip their arm off..." But think of that as code. It would be really bad. But that's not fully a bad idea, but I don't think it'll work.

@@charathedemon5939 Some sacrifices might have to be made here, but if it neutralizes, or even terminates Eclipse, it may possibly be better in the long run. Nobody likes to make sacrifices, but Eclipse is getting worse, and some very serious action needs taken.

After reading most of the comments, they have very good points. Sun is getting mentally unstable while eclipse is making it develop more and moon is asking many things only to realize what sun was hiding all along making him to snap at sun first allowing sun to snap at him for blaming him of what has happened. I saw an edit of Sun snapping and I had to see the entire episode first to understand. Seeing them both argue with such feelings actually makes it feel real. It can really be something to feel connected but in other situations. Now that Moon has to find the star in less than 3 months, it makes them stress more because they feel that each day there is a lack of time wasted. This episode really got me and hope to see more. Thank you

If you have to ask, you either haven't finished watching the video or you missed the "lore videos" leading up to this one.
Ok, I love this video, it has angst and Sun sticking up for himself, even if he did apologize, this made me realize that Moon was getting more insane by the body, and Sun was getting a little more insane every time he loses control, or it could be the aftermath of the shock factor of it, but Eclipse really is pulling the strings. Here’s the thing, Moon threatened to pull out Sun’s wires, Sun killed a person while in complete control, and Eclipse made a deal for 3 months and Moon is genuinely trying to find a way to stop it, I get Eclipse has been a problem, but Eclipse needs to learn every good vs bad fight almost never ends well for one side in particular, and I’m not saying that because of TV shows and fairy tails, I’m saying that because of the determination and the lengths the good side will go to, to make things right. And Sun needs to learn he is stronger and smarter than he gives himself credit for, mentally, he has been fighting back insanity constantly, now that HE is the sane one in the duo again, he might have to do his own research on how to go about this, or maybe even find a way to make it where Eclipse can’t see or hear what Sun sees and hears, but being the sane one, Sun might have to step up regardless of if he wants to or not, because nobody else can. And if he’s not prepared to do so…. It might be a disaster… he needs to stand up now and do the scouting for the duo. Please let’s hope he doesn’t mess it up.

O_o Well this series is getting a little intense. I literally only started watching this channel because it reminded me of older CZcamsrs that do mod showcases and playthroughs, and gave me nostalgia. Now, though, I am extremely hooked and not ashamed of it at all lmao, And have thoughts on the progression of the story here:
I honestly can’t tell who’s gaslighting who at this point, But I know that *one* of them is doing it, even if I don’t know if the manipulator is Sun or Moon.
If Moon is right, Sun might actually be hiding behind Eclipse on purpose so he can escape responsibility when his homicidal urges surface.
But If Sun is right, Moon is making a lot of mentally damaging assumptions, and Moon’s aggression toward his brother will only make it worse because of how alone Sun feels during all this.
It’s also likely that neither are intending to gaslight each other, but they believe the other is *intentionally* gaslighting them, only causing them to defend themselves even more fiercely from a very confused abuser.
What does everyone else think? I personally believe Sun, and that eclipse is much worse than moon was, with the ability to dominate Sun instead of being trapped like moon was. I also sympathize with Sun, because I know what it’s like to be struggling with mental illnesses while everyone in your life keeps telling you that the reason you’re suffering is because you’re “Just not trying hard enough.” That sort of mindset is way more damaging than people think it is.
But, because I have strong emotions associated with that topic, I might be tricked into thinking exactly what he wants us to think, where he wants us to feel bad for him. It is really easy to manipulate me into feeling bad for other people, so I might just be stupid in the situation. It’s honestly too confusing to me at this point lol

This genuinely got so dam dramatic, I never expected this kind of drama from a show about goofy, funny and sometimes creepy animatronic brothers.
When Moon said "Stop acting like a child. Act like an animatronic" that means Sun can stand up for himself. Sun is always holding back. Like Moon said " You use to fight me for years". That's means Sun is capable to fight Eclipse. Sun, DO NOT be afraid to fight him! NEVER SAY "I CAN'T" YES YOU CAN SUN! ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE, IF YOU SAY YOU CAN'T, NOTHING IS GOING TO WORK! DONT DOUBT YOURSELF SUN
Stay determined. I hope Sun can learn that.

Sun explained why he couldn't though. Eclipse is different from Moon, like he said, and it makes it harder for him to fight him back. Eclipse also said before that Sun was getting better at fighting him back, but that also meant that he isn't able to keep him back since he still managed to break out. Eclipse is stronger than Moon was in this sense, or because he's coded differently, Sun's system hasn't adapted to him yet, or possibly can't at all. Eclipse is only a line of code, when previously he was part of Moon, who i also will assume had coding in place that worked with Sun's code. At least, at the time when they were still one animatronic. So, without the rest of Moon's code in the way, Eclipse has more freedom cuz he's not trapped within Moon's code anymore. That's my theory here.

As Sun stated " He's different, I'm not like you" that's means he doesn't want to be a killer like Moon. He doesn't want to adapt to Moon's killer side. As he said that Moon wanted to get rid of his killer side and placed it in Sun. He didn't know the thing that was in Moon's system/coding was going to spread and take consciousness into his own mind. Moon said that he could get rid of Eclipse by making Sun human. But, that could take effect into his life and kill Moon as Golden Freddy said

I'm not entirely sure if people realise that Sun has very low self-esteem! Also I think that he was feeling like that even before he split with Moon. I know how Sun feels because I also felt this way. That you're the bad guy, you can't do anything, you don't have control over your own life. It's mad annoying when people say that Sun has victim mentality or his manipulative or he emotionally abuse Moon because that's not true! Moon's problems are more visible because he has different character than Sun. Sun is the type of person who would try to hide how he feels badly about himself. Try to hide his ugly truth. Sun couldn't help Moon when he was acting on killer code when they were still together because he is too dumb to come up with any solution which could help. And he isn't of any help now either because he's still too stupid to do anything. He can't help Moon, he can't make Eclipse dissapear. He feels more like an excuse of a brother than a real one. I hope that other people will also see this. I think the hints to Sun's mental problems are scatterd through videos bit by bit. I know ot is harder to see Sun's problems because he try his best to hide them well (not so well but you know what I mean).
And how others can't see that Eclipse is abusive and manipulative and take whatever he tells about Sun as a truth is beyond me! This is so stupid. It's obvious that Eclipse find joy in Sun's suffering and that he hates Sun and that he gaslights Moon into stop believing Sun and also to start hating Sun and that he gaslights Sun into thinking that he's evil and vile. It's obvious but I know that many people tend to not see that someone has self-esteem issues and just brush it off as that "this person is attention seeker" or some other bs!

I usually try to say positive things but even I'm struggling to say anything positive. I usually say "I wish you luck" but you need more than luck. You need some kind of help.
