Is this a stock turbo ecu you’re running with a gate? Been wanting a gate on mine but wasn’t sure if possible on stock ecu
Yeah stock turbo ECU Works but definitely want to update the ecu sooner then later
Was the gearbox hard to get on engine once in
Gearbox wasn’t touched, it was super easy to align the motor into the gear box. I found it was even easier when the engine mounts were removed.
Yeah cool, i did hear you say that after i commented. I did a motor an gearbox transplant and uh it wasnt so easy with the manual shifter! Do you have any ideas on how to fix vl boot gaps. My door gaps are good its just my boot that i cant seem to get right. Beautiful vl btw. Puts mine to shame lol
@@nickbest573 I found manuals boxes were easier to remove before pulling the motor then once the motor is back in & the on engine mounts then install the box.
I’m not to sure on the body work side of things sorry mate.
What box did you go with?
Built RE4, fully manualised 3 speed with a 3k stall

It's a VL, no amount of prayer will stop the problems haha. I don't miss my old VL Calais one bit, was the worst car I ever owned.

@@fufuelhatch444 it was a clean one owner car but it just always had something wrong with it and spent most of the time off the road, I'd fix one thing then something else would fail and it just never ended. I spent $17k on it and in the end I sold it for $2k because i was so tired of seeing it.
