It's been pretty unanimous that this is _the_ best Batman figure McFarlane ever made. This figure reminds me of Tom Mandrake's artwork from the mid 80's

I’d say the speeding bullets Batman is the best McFarlane Batman figure. He has better articulation and proportions. I mean it’s technically Superman but it’s sold as Batman and looks more like Batman than Superman

This is what Y2 Batman “Should” have been. Love this figure but now that I have it, not sure that I need another Batdude. I wonder if that’s the reason other companies have hesitated to make a “definitive” Batman? 🤔

@@NostalgiaUnboxed lol, I suppose it’s a controversial subject, as some have made the point there is no such thing. So I guess it’s really subjective, but my “definitive” Batman is the blue & grey with yellow oval. As close to the way Neal Adams depicted him as possible. So for me, this is it. But I also really like the Pattinson one and so I have that figure as well.
Pretty cool review. Its funny that you would post this, because I just got this in the mail from Amazon the other day. Im still thinking about getting the Mafex Knightfall Batman. I could really kick myself in the shin for not getting the Mafex Blue and Grey Hush Batman when I had the chance.

I have a few issues with mcfarlane figures, but at $20 it's hard to complain when they release a banger like this Knightfall Batman.

It’s really good to see you finally give mcfarlane another chance, even though you were generally positive in your review of the flash movie figures, it was unfortunate that those were your first impression of the line. If you are a DC fan at all I really recommend you watch some mcfarlane dc multiverse collection videos to see what other great comic figures they have done, as there are soooo many of them. The movie figures just aren’t as good due to the likenesses. But similar to NECA, mcfarlane has great sculpts and generally pretty good paint, especially compared to marvel legends which is 90% reuse of the same 3 sculpts.
Yeah, every once in a while I see something that really stands out. I’m hoping to see a new Superman that is as appealing as this Batman. I don’t like the overly beefy versions at all

I generally avoid McFarlane toys because of the diaper life and, let's face it, I need another line to collect like I need a grapnel in the throat. But this one looks pretty, pretty good

McFarlane figures are so odd sometimes. I collect heavily the Warhammer 40k series and their Anime figures for Demon Slayer and My Hero Academia. Sometimes the figures (In the anime lines) feel very hit or miss like they had one drunk guy making one figure and a dude with some skill making the other. It also goes for their chase figures. Some chase figures are incredible. Others are like the chase Deku where they stamped lightning effects on the front of the figure but completely skipped the back LOL. Now... The Warhammer 40k line? I dont' have much negative to say about it. They are amazing, beefy hunks of plastic and I have a lot of fun practicing customizing on them and practicing painting on the Artist Proof versions.
Haha sounds like a great line for the Warhammer stuff. Do you mess with the JoyToy stuff? 1/18th scale

I just got the black suit Knightfall variant today, and man, it's beautiful (the grey parts are still grey, just slightly darker than the standard version, and the blue parts are black). TBH it looks more a Killing Joke Batman than a Knightfall Batman though.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed it really does! I literally only decided to start collecting action figures this week, thanks in part to your videos (I only have 4 so far, all DC - Bloodsport, Lobo, Midnighter and Batman), but I'm pretty sure he's the only Batman I'll ever need.
You say "ok with a gray and blue" and in my head it's the only Batman I accept!(not really...just being a silly). But I do love this Batman, despite not liking most the Batmens McFarlane make.

I just picked up the Dick Grayson Batman blue variant today and it looks pretty similar but also has the cloth cape with the wire. Its really great.

Considering the absolute GLUT of McFarlane Batman figures, there have been very few comic book Batman figures worth buying, in my opinion...and fewer still in blue and grey. Hush Batman was briefly at the top of that list, but Knightfall Batman edges him out. This figure looks like my childhood.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed The Hush Batman is a very good modern blue/grey design. There are a few minor issues, particularly with some of the hands, but overall, an iconic looking figure. Just not as iconic as this one.
Pretty much knight fall is the story where Bane first appear and broke Batman’s back and spirit (while putting him in a coma) and Azrael became Batman

Play Arts Kai stand that came with a figure but you can buy them individually
Cloth cape and more hands would have knocked this out of the park. Given the reception of this figure, I wouldn't be surprised if McF re-releases this as a deluxe type set with those options in the future. It's a gorgeous Batman. The sculpt and proportions and articulation are dynamite. And that price at $20... he could almost charge twice that if he threw in a few accessories.

I just can’t get over the extra beefy legs and diapers on all the McFarlane figures. If you look at his old drawings of Wolverine and Cap you can see why he’s a fan of the giant crotch piece.

That's literally my one biggest gripe with most McFarlane figs I do like.. I will admit that it does break up the sculpt but it helps so much with posability and tho this batman doesn't, a large amount of the figs have accessories or straps that could easily hide the cut and they just dont do it.. if you're into just standing em in static/neutral/heroic poses it works great but as soon as you want an action pose (my preference) it just looks stiff and hardly works.
yeah I love it on the DKR Batman, that little cut doesn't bother me and he's way more fun to pose. I feel like it's extra helpful on these figs without boot swivels @@sirfrancois8888

Perhaps even a Kickstarter (a group of Batman loves could form a cool group and Kickstarter such Batman weapons pack :-) ) of Batman weapons pack with lots of nice looking Bat-a-rangs (not the web/wing looking old school type design hopefully X-D)?

They only make their own characters which has the cutest faces of in all toydom/figuredom) who makes the most realistic clothes of all the tier-S toy makers in the world, the shoes are the most real (real leather make w/ real show process): Smart Doll (I think by now they already made their robot too).
