Always love to see what others are doing. You might have these in other bags, so apologies if so. One thing I have been adding to all my "Get Blank" bags: 18650 based headlamp. Bought several of the Coast XPH30R, and they might be the perfect headlamp/flashlight. The other thing I like everywhere is zip tie assortments, and 5" or 6" Knipex Cobras. I also bought some of the lifeboat food, which although heavy, is calorie dense for the volume and keeps for a long time. Also an extra pair of Merino wool socks can be great while for wet ones dry out. Costco has great deals.
Yep, absolutely essential in your Get Home Bag: you never know when you might need to staple some flesh wounds. Besides, easy to get at your local tools show: no background check, no permit or license, no transfer regulation, and legal in all fifty states. The full size model has a high capacity magazine, but Doc was right in swapping it for a compact model with its safety lock preventing accidental discharge.
The stove might be good for the car kit, if your car kit has food to heat up but not much sense in lugging that around in your pack, there's no room for food in that loadout. I would go for a few pairs of hand warmer packs. You already had fire starting/building stuff, hopefully one is a simple lighter, use the cool kid starting methods as a backup. As far as food, I would stick with simple protein/meal replacement bars, granola bars. Stuff that keeps and easy to carry. The stranded in my car kit can be whatever really. as long as it will keep. The black bins with the yellow top from home depot are good for this. The 7 gallon is the ticket.

That’s awesome brother, I think you just created the new industry standard “the staple gun!” pocket!!
Ahh... a staple gun...

You already have the axe to beat with, if your thing is staples, I guess for the tarp/space blanket, just add a thing of fence staples...

My last box of "staples" for my car bag was the .45 size. Many people opt for the smaller 9mm size staples.
@@randysmith9636 Oh, if it were a snake it would have bit me.

I understand brother, I have narrowly missed being bite many times myself.

Wondering why no protein bars in the bag, food seems way more important than a staple gun.
For my get home bag I use a Mora. I have confidence in it, and it is thrifty
Great video. Whats the name of the reflective tarp/bag? Thanks so much
Where you puttin yer gun?
Obviously where the staple gun is…
@@forteandblues doesn't seem so obvious 😉
I get all the emergency stuff but what a firearm? You have everything but that.
🙂
Presume this is satire
Why
It’s a stand in for another type of gun that CZcams doesn’t like
Empty out all of your bags and pouches. Weigh all of bags and pouches. That is dead weight.
This vídeo shows a serious lack of training/experience.😢
