- The Randall 1-7 all purpose fighting knife is the third Randall that I've purchased this year. Discorvering Randall while reseaching other knives I have had much fun in learning its military heritage. Two other knives come in to show some additional history so please do enjoy the video.
I have my uncle's Randall number 1 that he carried in Vietnam for three tours. It's been used hard but still in very good condition functionally. The finnish and sheath are pretty worn but still as strong and sharp as it ever was

I have the SOG and Blackjack model 1-7 in CPM3V I'm English and would love a Randall but the nearest ive got is Roy Clark singing. Many thank's for you're Video's

mine broke 1 inch behind the hilt. Was a safe queen, never used never abused, bought it new 35 years ago.
That’s a sad story. Did you send it back to them for a warranty?

Do they every say what steel these Randal knives are made of?
Your knife steel is O1 tool steel. If it was a stainless steel knife the “S” would be next to or built into the regular trademark. Currently we use O1,440B,154CM
