저때랑 지금이랑 팬덤문화 완전 다름. 그때는 00팸,00파, 이래가지고 집단으로 다니고 자기들끼리 명함돌리고. 공방만 다녀오면 쌓인 명함이 100장은 가까이 되는거 같고. 명함에도 멤버들 사진들 다양하게 들어가서 받을 수 밖에 없었음. 플랜카드도 직접 만들어서하고..

@@besjxjsjjdSNS가 없어서 정보공유나 같이 덕질한다는 동질감을 지닌 커뮤니티를 만들기 어려웠어요 지금이야 트위터나 팬까페 스마트폰 유튜브로 공지사항이나 일정 사진 영상 이런걸 공유할 수있는 매체가 존재하지도 않았어요 집에서 PC도 없고 스마트폰도 없이 TV에 나오던거 VCR(비디오테잎 재생기)로 공테이프에 불법복제해서 덕질하던 시기예요 핸드폰은 문자와 전화 오프라인게임 밖에는 아무런 기능이 없었구요 팬덤들은 완전 점조직 형태였고 그런 점조직들이 연계해서 정보공유도 하고 일정조정해서 화력과시하려면 서로 연락책이 필요하니 명함만큼 좋은게 없었어요 트위터도 페북도 IG도 없었던 시기니까요 일종의 오프라인 정모들끼리 교류하기 위한 연락방법인거예요
이제 나이먹고 30대 초반이 된 구캉인데 그냥 오방신기 생각하면 가슴이 아프고 속이 쓰림.. 그냥 각자 잘 살고 있는 모습만 비춰줘도 고맙다 이젠. 오방신기 다시 보고싶은 거 욕심인 거 알아서 체념했고 그냥 사고치지 말고 잘만 살아줘라 제발ㅠㅠ 안좋은 소식이나 근황 들으면.. 실망도 실망인데 그냥 마음이 아픔ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
다른 가수도 나오는 드림콘서트를 단콘화 시켜버렸던 구동방의 위력. 지금처럼 삼번망원경 이런게 있던 시절도 아니라 면봉신기 나노신기로 보더라도 그저 같은 공간에 있다는게 행복했고, 목찢어져라 응원하면서 우리 목소리 오빠들 귀에 닿게하는게 최고 행복했던 시절. 콘서트 갔다온 후에 목 안나가있으면 콘서트 간것이 아니였던 그 시절ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
이런날이 오는구낭...20대후반인데 학창시절에 애들이랑 친해질때 마이쮸다음으로 '동방신기 좋아해?' 로 시작했던 기억... 2006년~8년 오정반합 쇼케이스도 가고 아송페 드림콘서트 다 갔었는데...ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ 진짜 동방신기 쪼개질거라고는 어릴 땐 상상도 못했었었징...ㅠㅡㅠ 내 덕질도 큰 트라우마로 10대시절 이후로 끝이었다가 올초 긴 입덕부정을 겪다가 현재 아미로 살고있음. 솔직히 요즘도 one, 지금처럼, 바보, 넌 언제나,럽인아 듣는다 ㅠㅠ

애들이 다 착해서 뭐 병크터질 걱정 1도 없고 그때보다 영상자료들도 넘쳐나고 맘놓고 덕질합니다ㅠ

헤헹 전 라이징썬 쇼케이스 갔었는데 그때 재중옵 다리 다쳐가지고 휠체어 타고나와서 눈물바다 되고 .. 했던게 떠오르네요
카아를 모르는 세대가 왔구나ㅠㅠ 저때는 풍선 응원이 당연했고 각 그룹마다 색상들도 있었는데 영상에 나온 것처럼 동방신기는 펄 레드 슈주는 펄 사파이어 블루 SS501은 펄 에메랄드 였고 동슈501라고 부르면서 카트엘 세 팬덤이 주축이었는데ㅠㅠ 카시오페아는 그 중에서도 워낙 많았는데ㅠㅠ

저도 구카아 현아미 라고해야하나? 생각해보면 이미 동방에서 눈이 높을대로 높아져있었는데 그걸 충족시켜주는게 방탄이구 세대를 거쳐서 팬들이 가장 중요하게 생각한 멤버결속이 탄탄하게 보강된 느낌이라... 이 두 그룹은 동방 해체 전 까지 맥락이 비슷하지
당시 나 빅뱅팬이고 카시오페아가 진짜 너무쩔어서 동방팬한테 압도당하는 느낌이었음 위세쩔었어

카아는 최초 공식팬덤 80만 비공식 합하면 100만팬덤이였다는걸 그 시대?때 공식이 80만이면 어마어마 한거임 지금은 IT 발달이 많이 되어서
저도 구카아였던사람으로서... 거기 가입하기도 힘듦 ㅠㅠ 가입할때 질문도 많이하고 며칠 심사걸러서 해줌..
그리고 동방신기 앨범 보유하고있는지 인증해야됨.. ㅈㄴ까다로움
The fandom culture is different for every generation. And my teenage with TVXQ and Cassiopeia was the best moment in my life. The red balloon, poorly lit lightstick but red ocean was still beautiful ocean and still beautiful until now. Btw, Cassiopeia is still beautiful fandom name in kpop for me, i'm still thinking about this until now. Thank you, Changmin for give us beautiful name. And the fans of groups from the current generation are so lucky because the technology is so good now.
I remember I had that big bulky PC from back then, my first PC. I spent the whole entire day downloading their Mirotic concert and watch it on repeat cause CZcams wasn’t really a thing.
구카아 현아미로서 어쩌다가 넘사 아이돌들만 파게 됐는지 새삼 내 덕질인생 화려하네ㅋㅋㅋ 오방신기는 진짜 국내 뿐만 아니라 아시아 시장을 씹어 먹었었음. 특히 일본에서 쇼핑몰 계단에서 공연하던 시절부터 돔투어까지 진짜 바닥부터 올라온 그룹이라서 입지 장난아니었지. 근데 동방 찢어지고 다시는 덕질 안 할줄 알았는데 방탄에 입덕을 해버려서 덕질인생 퀄리티가 안드로메다까지 가버림ㅋㅋ영상에는 잘 안 나왔는데 방탄소년단 투어 규모는 전세계에서 손꼽히는 정도 수준이고 그마저도 지금 모자랄판임ㅋㅋ기록은 나열하다가 손가락 부러질듯ㅋㅋ 방탄소년단이 앞으로 얼마나 더 무대 위에 있는 모습을 보여줄지는 모르겠지만 내 인생 마지막 아이돌임에는 분명함.

TVXQ was the group that brought me into kpop. I've been a huge Cassiopeia for over a decade and it always makes me so proud whenever people get impressed by the boys or the fans. Even though I admittedly don't listen as much to them these days as I used to, TVXQ is such a meaningful group to me and the members will always have a special place in my heart and I'm so grateful for all the amazing interactions I've had with other fans over the years. I've also been listening to BTS since their debut and became a full-fledged ARMY in 2014. I'm so proud to have seen their growth since the start to now. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them!

As a Cassiopeia since 2008 and an Army since 2017 i just wanna say thank u for making this video. Both of the groups are mean so much to me. Dbsk made me falling in love with Korea. Bts really made me happy when i was into deep depression, they helped me alot. So i dont wanna compare who's good who's bad. They're both very incredible groups and amazing men for me ❤💜

그건 너무 모순인게 동방이 지금시대에 나왔으면 더 인기 없을수도있음.. 아이돌 수도 훨씬많고, 실력도 외모도 상향 평준화되가지고 더 어려움..

그 당시 음반은 카세트테이프에서 CD로 바뀌는 시대여서 둘다 사고, 잡지를 사려고 서점에 줄서고, 인터넷으로 다시보기가 없어서 모든 방송을 녹화해서 또 보고 또봤는데ㅋㅋ 콘서트는 밤새 줄서서 예매하고, 다른 팬덤과 교실에서 싸우기도 다수고...ㅋㅋ
나의 덕질은 10대로 끝인줄 알았는데 BTS로 다시 10대의 순수했던 감정을 다시 느끼네요ㅋ 예전과 덕질의 수준이 다르고 넘쳐나는 떡밥과 돈 많이 드는 굿즈들에서 정신없지만 여전히 건강한 덕질은 삶을 윤택하게 해주네요~ 모두 건강한 덕질하시길!

Hello my co-cassies, its really hard to see appreciation post or vids relating to our fandom and our dongbang (ot5) nowadays, so imma take this opportunity to say that being a cassie was the best time of my youthful days and some of you might have been part of it because I was a spazzer before even not so known, still thank you. I missed the old days but we cant go back, it was such a great time. I love you all 💕
We are still out there, just have to do adult stuff ( kids, family work etc.) But like you, will always remember these days. We did it all without social media and in our own little world. So proud of you!! Have a great life! Ot5 forever!

kinda impressed seeing TVXQ being so huge in ASIA back then, despite no sns back then and also the internet not really a huge thing before compare to now. i knew them because of my friend being a hardcore fan and her downloaded all the videos. i love their ballads and harmonies, no group can compared to them, the vocals,visuals and dances. and also i used to listen to bts, no doubt their discography are chef kiss and they deserve all the success and great achievements. both group are great in their own way, pave for the way for kpop history. TVXQ remains legend in my heart. how i wish i can see them together as 5
idk how but sm artist back then really have a big fan base all over asia. that mouth to mouth promotion really effective somehow

@@summer9237 they debuted 2003.. there's no facebook til 2005 and wasnt widely used till at least 2010 (by then jyj already left the group). myspace was just launched that year (2003) but not everyone have a myspace acct. internet wasnt readily available everywhere back then.
i found tvxq back in 2003 while watching cable tv (arirangtv), we didnt have internet and when i went to internet cafe, search results are in korean.
again, internet wasnt widely available back when they're a 5 member group that is why its impressive how big their fandom were. kpop idols who debuted after 2010 were lucky to enjoy the height of social media.

Cassiopeia are honestly SUCH an iconic fandom. In general, first and second gen fandoms really set the bar for supporting your favourite artists. This was a really fun video, thank you!
I am still a proud Cassiopeia up until now since 2006 and to think they went that far without sns and social media back then… I can’t help but proud of them. Most Cassiopeia are now getting older together with TVXQ and busier with life, work, family and such but we are still supporting quietly. I’m glad to have met TVXQ during my teens years because they helped me realize a lot of things and get back on my feet whenever I was down.

TVXQ hit their prime back when social media was barely starting out. Everything was by word of mouth and pure dedication. As big as their fan population was, they were extremely overworked. They put out 9 full studio albums on top of other singles, concerts, TV shows and more. They started from performing in mini events and stairwells trying to promote themselves. Even though they were only together 5 years, they released as much as any artist would in 10 years. They really are legendary, and I wish I could feel this again with the 5 of them. Miss them so much..

@@abysshj2563 저두 4년차 아미에여 저는 그래도 스픽파이널콘 갔는데 뭐랄까…같은 공간에 있고 넘 좋고 벅차기는한데 거리가…멀어서 거의 전광판으로 봤기에 실물을 봤다고 하기도 못봤다하기도 참 애매해요….분명 봤는데 본거 같지 않은느낌.. 취소 됐던 콘서트에선 자리가 대박이라서 이번엔 가까이서 볼수있겠다 두근두근 하며 콘서트 날만 손꼽아 기다렸는데 취소…ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ 3월엔 진짜 우리 모두 볼수 있으면 좋겠어요..ㅠㅠ

아미는 또다른 성숙한 팬덤 문화를 선도해가고 있어요 ,, 이번 엘에이 콘서트 보면 질서정연하게 5만여명이 관람함에도 안전사고 없이 잘 마무리 되었답니다 ,,마스크도 잘 쓰고 공연해서 ,, 미국에서 전례없는 방역 철저했던 공연이었다고도 합니다 ,,공연장내 쓰레기도 다 정리하여 깨끗했다고 하고 공연후 주차 정리까지 도와줬다고 해요 ,, 평상시 기부도 많이 하고요 ,, 누구보다 가수와 팬이 서로의 자부심이기에 그럴 수 있는것 같아요 , ,이번에 방탄소년단이 하와이에서 휴가를 보낼때도 사생활 자켜주자고 하여 눈앞에서 목격해도 알리지 않았고 ,, 뒤늦게 멤버들이 한국 돌아와서야 목격담을 올리기도 하였죠 ,, 멤버들이 덕분에 잘 쉬었다고 모르는척 해줘서 고맙다고 직접 감사의 인사도 전하기도 했어요 ,,,물론 팬덤마다 무개념도 있겠지만 그건 일부일뿐이죠 ,,,전세계 다양한 연령, 다양한 인종, 성별 등을 포함하는 아미들 성숙한 팬덤

wow i was part of Cassiopeia when i was a young teen lol. everyone says Big Bang was the standard but TVXQ/DBSK was before them and honestly they were huge. i'm now part of Army it's great- BTS is clearly doing something completely different than any other group has done though as far as promoting self love and comfort. i couldn't be more proud.
BigBang only came to the rise after DBSK disbanded. DBSK literally dominated the entire scene. Even SuJu couldn’t compare.
BIGBANG and TVXQ set different standards. The two groups couldn't be more different. It's hard to find purely vocal groups debuting in Kpop because of BIGBANG'S influence, but even so, MXs Minhyuk is a huge fan of Junsu and Jaejoong. TVXQs influence may not be as publicly mentioned, but it is definitely there.

I’m so proud that I’m a Cassiopeia/BigEast. BigEast is the name of TVXQ’s Japanese fandom, while Cassiopeia is the Korean fandom. The word “ocean” to refer to fandom I think started from TVXQ also, I think they described having a “red ocean” meaning their fans and it’s included in the Mirotic lyrics. Also, the concert in Nissan stadium is really commendable because that’s just 2 out of 5 original members of TVXQ. Yunho and Changmin did that on their own after TVXQ broke up in 2009. So proud of HoMin for carrying out TVXQ’s legacy. ❤️
nah. tvxq stopped being tvxq when the other members left. they should've renamed themselves to something else. tvxq will always be ot5. junsu and jaejoong's voices made up a large part of what made tvxq songs tvxq songs. also SM surpressed/ blocked JYJ so much, so of course it made it harder for them to maintain a lot of fans
One thing I found Cassiopeia amazing is that, they're are form during internet service wasn't accessible as nowadays. Even I knew about TVXQ backthen from the manga I bought 😂
고등학교 시절 🥹 드림콘때 친구들이랑 같이 보러갔었는데 진짜 단콘느낌으로 카아가 꽉채우고.. 다른 팬들은 먼저 입장해서 이미 입장 다 끝났는데 카아는 너무너무 많아서 제일 마지막 입장함.. 줄이 잠실주경기장을 몇바퀴 둘렀었던... 🎈

I was in the AMAs and it was everything you could hope for and more. I'm so happy I was there in their TV debut!!! I'm mexican but went to LA to see them, the whole day was filled with ARMYS of all ethnicities, and ages, and after the show EVERYONE was talking about BTS!!!! Not a single soul left that theater without wondering in awe who BTS was. So beautiful!!!!

TVXQ was something else. Till this day they have dedicated fans. They ruled over Asia and were THE most well known boy group out there. SM looked for trainees with looks, skills and talent based on TVXQ members, they were the literal blueprint. But they could never replicate the 5 members that made up the group. Each was a powerful vocalist and dancer. They were truly something else

I started to follow k-music back on 2002 ,then on '03 I watched TVXQ with their Hug & Hero was w/a littlegirl singing that was when I became a fan & until 2009-10 disband issue & now following the guys separately. Was a huge YJ ship (love their friendship) you can see it on my name 😉 then came BigBang & then BTS. I am a multi, but these are my major 2° gen groups.
I am a TVXQ fan from Singapore since 2004, it was SO hard to get any info about them in the early years because Kpop was not known in Asia yet. Fans nowadays are so blessed that Kpop is an international thing now

스마트폰 생겨날 때 일이 터져서 더 끝경지를 못봤을 뿐 외모부터 다시는 불가잖아.... 이미 쉽게 폰으로 가입하고 누구나 영상보고 뉴스로 매일같이 언플해 주는 시대랑 다르다고... 오히려 동방신기는 마케팅 언플 다 억눌린 상태였지 회사도 돈 벌어오는 용도만 취급했고.. 지금까지 한 명 한 명 더 넘사가 되어가는 그룹 없음 그 어떤 후광도 서포트도 없이 각자 또 다시 시작해도 이랗게나 거물급 유지할 수 있는 그룹 없고 이게 더 대단한거임

TVXQ/DBSK were so amazingly popular its sad to see no one really knows of them anymore. The first KPOP band I knew was Super Junior... but then I saw their label mates TVXQ and became obsessed... and to think the first KPOP Idol i was introduced to was Rain....
not a member of cassiopea but a cassiopean by heart. from the philippines, youtube just started at that time. we have to go to internet cafes and pay per hour just to use the internet. kpop is popular nowadays because of easy internet access but it became so commercialized and westernized. i like it better when it was still "asian". maybe im really just old school. 😂
