Hey I just want to say this is the first time I've purchased a game based on a sponsored plug. I never play F2P garbage so it was so great to see a real indie game with a real price tag and real gameplay not bogged down by requiring hundreds of dollars in purchases to play in a not-frustrating way. Kudos to the Ratropolis guys.

@@NestedQuantifier I do feel that compared to other roguelikes, the runs last a bit long, and there's no save and quit feature. However, the gameplay itself is very fun and there are a lot of different paths to go down depending on the cards you're dealt (literally) and the choices you make. Great replayability

@@SpecterVonBaren Very different. Monster Train is turn-based and allows you to get broken combo given the RNG, while Ratropolis is real-time (with gold as gating resource) and requires careful planning for the entire early-mid-late game.
While it can be v difficult at times (especially at higher Ascension), all games are winnable given the RNG. I'd say Ratropolis has fewer good end-game build compared to StS or Monster Train, but it's a game of its own and I can't find comparison outside of Dominion, a game I heard but never played.

I actually love Ratropolis so much, and I'm really happy to see it getting some more exposure and advertising.
I've never seen Angry Chicken kill anyone ever. And I have tens of thousands of hours in this game.

Assuming you play 5 hours a day, 10k hours would require a little over 5 and a half years, and I don't think you're a streamer.

Playing this strategy in duels is always insane. In Arena, it's even more degeneracy. I love it!
Nah, because if you try to build dude synergy in duels, you get offered none of it in buckets, so you just go 0-3.

This video is why Trump is my favorite. He doesn't whine when he gets bad luck, and he acknowledges when he gets good luck. He's good enough that he doesn't feel the need to compensate.

33:00 this shaman should have put more thought in to their turns. One such micro decision is the tidal wave at (38:17) where he could have played a totem for 3 extra hp, or more if spell dmg.
Another is at 35:40 where they attack after the hex A: Opening up a board slot for the opponent to spend their mana B: losing face damage and C: giving opponent an avoidable 1/1 divine shield instead of a 0/1 taunt. These minor things can make a huge impact over the course of a game as they add up.
