    Here's a couple iconic partscasters to mentioned. Terry Kath's Pignose Telecaster and Danny Gatton's Telecaster...

    • @GlaucoAlves
      @GlaucoAlves  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I didn’t know Danny’s tele was a partscaster. Well, I guess I should have considering he was also a mechanic 😅

  • @BADNDN

    Springsteen’s guitar was not a Squier/fender partscaster. It was a Fender Esquire (single pickup version of a tele) with a bridge pickup added in.

    • @GlaucoAlves
      @GlaucoAlves  Před 3 lety +2

      You’re right, I did spell it Squier instead Esquire. But I meant Esquire lol
      If you know his guitar well, you’d consider the other mods, not only the neck pickup. The partscaster can be classified as modifications too, since those parts were not there or even related to the exact era.

      @@GlaucoAlves from what I've read, the neck was an esquire neck, but the body was a tele body, routed out under the pickup. So it's very light.

    Il love Partcaster Teles or Strats. I made a few and love to play them. Actually, among all the guitars I own, are Partcasters my favourites.

    1st super strat was russell dashiel gibson humbucker in a strat 1969. He played with Norman greenbaum, harvey mandel, crowfoot, donny harrison band. Ritchie blackmore had humbuckers in a strat in 1973 74. Michael hampton from funkadelic had 3 super distortions buckers in strat 1974.

    all these guitars have been meticulously documented, and a simple google search would provide you with all and any of the information you could possibly need. this is just lazy research.

    • @GlaucoAlves
      @GlaucoAlves  Před 2 lety +4

      Not sure if you noticed, but, at the very beginning of the video I say, "if you already know what a partscaster is, this video isn't for you". This was a very superficial talk about some of the most iconic partscaster out there just so I could bring the subject for those who aren't familiar with it, not a scientific research about the topic. So that said, I'm cool you didn't like it. Good luck with your google research!
