I love his virtuoso approach to this piece. All renditions I have heard (except Z Koscis) are more or less played with safety in mind. This pianist takes many risks in order to give the audience everything of himself, and maybe even more..

I love this. Wonderful! One suggestion is i recomend that part from 11:00 to around 12:00 needs a little more emphasis. Ik this part is ver difficult when it constantly goes up and down but i think there should be a little more power in that part. But all in all I love this performance!

I'm halfway through listening to this, and while this pianist is technically impressive with this piece, his articulation and dynamics disturb some of these very long Bellini melodic lines and . I'd venture to guess he may not have ever sat through a performance of Norma or at least listened through the Callas vinyl which in my opinion is the gold standard. He's playing the piano well here, but that's not adequate to play this opera transcription.
