      I tried it this morning and it never streamed on youtube and facebook at the same time. Only on CZcams. When I hit Go Live it goes live but only on CZcams. When I copy and paste the link over to my FB page it doesn't stream. Any thoughts? Thanks!

  • @nappingbear

    Just saw this video, never knew you could do this! Was it a recent update? Before I thought the only way was to have two separate instances of OBS open!
    So I just tried it using FB Live as my primary stream, then pointed the recording to Restream and was able to successfully multistream to Twitch and CZcams. So it legit works for a triple stream as well! Pretty awesome, was considering getting a Restream subscription to get over that FB Page loophole, but since I'm not a big enough streamer for that this is a big deal to get started.
    If anyone is wondering, I was playing Warframe and OBS was reporting that I was using just over 40% CPU for the multi-stream which is pretty much double the usage from the typical single stream that I do. The game itself didn't suffer from any noticeable jitters but the recording to Restream did get a few dropped frames and buffer issues so it's still not a perfect solution. Will still consider getting a proper subscription down the line.

    Hi Jason - great video! I appreciate your explanation of the drawbacks of this method. Another is that you have to start your stream on both sites, instead of the convenience of just one dashboard. I'd love for you to recommend PolyStreamer to your subscribers. Our pricing model is fantastic for churches! My church pays less than $8 per month, since we only stream weekly for about an hour.

    We've been using this for weeks now, and it's made life so much less complicated! THANK YOU for showcasing this feature.
    One question: when we do this, the quality of our CZcams stream is inexplicably low, despite the fact that we have 720p on our Facebook stream. Is there a means of fixing this? I'll try messing around with the rescaled output option, but it always seems so grainy on CZcams (and changing the quality does nothing to the actual feed).

    @bradyrogers48 Před 4 lety +1

    So I thought I initially loved this idea. I think I still do but I had some thoughts I wanted to put out there.
    I'm curious...are you able to actually record locally still in some fashion by doing this method still or are you stuck with using the VOD? Currently we stream to Facebook and then I edit the recordings to upload to CZcams, but using this method I would want to have a recorded backup just in case if we're giving up recording at the same time that we are streaming.
    But then I thought...if the stream crashes that should be fine if the 'recording' is still outputting to CZcams right?
    I understand this all pretty well, but I"m still relatively new to this and trying to learn.
