the part of Shakira playing the guitar, Shakira actually started singing Latin rock songs, her second album Ojos Asi (eyes like ) was a full rock-pop album that dominated the radio stations in Latin America and the Caribbean from 1998 to early 2000, it was with her third album whatever that her record label forced her to change her style to break into the American market, also many don't know this but J.lo was the first Latina who's album reached number 1 on the music charts in both America and Latin America at the same time! later her record would be broken by Shakira with her release English album whatever a few years later! they both achieved something that no other Latina ever managed to achieve and that is dominating the English music and Latin music at the same time! that's why I find their performance together legendary!

Waka Waka song is actually Shakira’s song. She performed it at 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa

I only see how amazing of a performance it was. Haters cant get over the fact that 2 strong, talented, influential, sexy Latinas burned this stage. It makes them uncomfortable that these 2 artists are comfortable with who their roots. They both showcase a little taste of what Latin america is. Latin America is such a rich culture with diversity in their music, culture, food, their people etc. This is the best half time show I can remember. Great reaction and new sub here.

For those that appreciate music from different cultures, Shakira's performance was diverse and presented a spectrum of Arab, Latin, Rock, Urban and African rhythms, she is a great artist!. JLO was fantastic too!, her shows never disappoint, she always presents a great job, she dances with enormous energy and heart!... Shakira and JLO have different styles but they complemented each other wonderfully, the speed, choreography, dancers teams, scenario, lights, etc. were on point! Great teamwork!, and the results?: Awesome!,

Jlo made a huge statement using the flag as showing She is American but also puertorican and latin. Both Shakira and Jlo showed the richness in Latin culture and the mixed races like Libanese'Colombian in Shakira´scase (the screem and tonge showing is a libanese arabic way of showing joy).
