Evans G2 Clear Drum Head Shell Comparison - Maple | Birch | Walnut from Drumazon

Welcome to our video showing Evans G2 Clear heads on three of the most popular shell types - Maple, Birch and Walnut.
All three kits used feature exactly the same size toms so the only thing changing is the shell. For the maple kit we have used a Ludwig Classic Maple, the birch is a Yamaha Recording Custom and the walnut is a Noble & Cooley Walnut Classic.

Might be me, but maple's tuning seems just a tiny bit higher on floor. At least it has a high ringing to it, which is beautiful. However, birch is a big time yes for me :D
