I wish I could afford the rent here now! Real estate websites put the median rent for the Rocks at $1000 a week.
I don't know if they still are, and forget the street name but there was a row of terrace houses under the bridge that are or were owned by the Maritime Services Board (in the 1990's). I don't know if they still are (or for that fact ever really where and I just heard that).

??? Is that marionette shop still a step down in one of the alleys? hundreds of 'em and seemed half were hanging from the ceiling.
