I'm getting mine tomorrow. Im so glad to see it going down trails.
It's been so fun! I rode it to my campsite last night and used the basket to carry gear. Also been taking it to the gas station to get drinks in the mornings when there's no traffic lol
Sometimes if you approach a hill slowly you'll have to kick push a bit like on a skateboard, but on the flat ground trails and downhill it cruises!

@@justing1810 Awesome! How far of a commute will you have? My ride to the gas station is about 10 minutes both ways and is a pleasant ride when there's no traffic.
For the road, I wish it went a bit faster. But it gets the job done and is just great for around the farm.
@@NeedWantBuy My commute is only 1 mile. I think it will be perfect. Also I figure I can load it into my truck and take it on camping adventures. Maybe use it to make grocery store runs etc.
It does sound perfect then! More than enough battery life for that trip. And it quickly folds down so you can definitely take it with you in the truck.
As far as camping, I kept my scooter on and pointed the headlight towards my campfire while I prepped it the other night! It helped me see and tote gear around. It's a great little camping scooter since it goes off-road. Hope you enjoy!
I see other electric scooters have disc breaks and replacing the brake pads seem easy. What would happen if these drum brake shoes on this scooter wear out? Are they easy to replace?
I haven't had any brake issues and haven't had to replace anything on either of my GoTrax products. I personally upgraded and use the GoTrax R2 E-Bike regularly and the brakes seem to be standard if I had to replace them. Again haven't tried to, but they looked normal. I can't remember off hand what the scooter's brakes are like, but I assume it's similar. I'll update you later if the brakes look different!

How to hook up the phone holder to the scooter?
I've never used mine. But I assume you use an Allen wrench and undo a clamp at the bottom of the phone mount, then tighten it back around the handle bar. Good luck!

Can you attach a kids trailer?
Probably not with this one. I have to get some speed to climb hills. If I had extra weight I'd have to walk it lol.
However, I just reviewed the R2 E-Bike from GOTRAX and itd definitely be powerful enough.
