there are 2 pivotal events since Floor came aboard NW in late 2012 #1 Wacken 2013 - #2 Beste Zangers 2019 at this popular Dutch tv show filmed on Ibeza some top Dutch singers past & present get together and the person on the center couch for the day has one of their songs or a song that has meaning to them sung back to them reinterpreted by the other singers,novel idea .
Floor opened the show with the 1st song below and just blew everyones mind,only two of the other singers knew who Floor was but none of them had heard her sing with such versatility,after the 8 day run of the show Floor's & NW's popularity soared,stadiums filled up and ticket sales shot up.btw since Floor joined NW & after this show NW's fan base has tripled . on Mama Floor completely changes the tempo and song structure the song is about Samantha wanting to be more like her Mom, Que Se Siente by Rolf is originaly a merenge ,mambo type song so of course Floor does it her way,Winner by Tim he wrote for his brother who has Spina Bifida,About Love Ruben wrote about his parents divorce.

Phantom of the opera from 2005-end of an era" is always a must in the reaction community!! 🤍
All I can suggest is when it's time to do "The Poet and the Pendulum" live at Wembley Arena.. You can go straight in.. and enjoy the music.. or do some research on the back story of how and why the song came about. It's a long song that details a very personal story for Toumas.. Knowing the back story helps you follow along and recognize the significant moments throughout.. It should increase your enjoyment ten fold.. Actually, If you let the commenter's know your doing the Poet and the Pendulum next week, a hundred commenter's will fill you in on all you need to know..

Welcome back! Nightwish just had a virtual concert the 28 and 29 of May.
Floor joined the band in the middle of this tour after their singer got quite sick. She had only been playing with them for 10 months at this time and none of the songs were written for her. So no one at this show had ever heard her sing before. She just won them over by the sheer power and wonder of her voice and performance. Keep going, there so very much more to experience. You have no idea.
Love to see you guys are back! Waken is such a great concert to introduce the band. But I’m excited for you guys to experience Wembley

Epic from first to last note with nothing just good anywhere. It was all perfection.
This concert was amazing with Floor just absolutely commanding every person in attendance and anyone watching thereafter.

The Phantom of the Opera from the End of an Era concert would be a great way to start!
End of 2012 the revelation of Nightwish by Floor Jansen due to her dynamics and versatilty. Although Anette Olsson was not bad, not all the, especially the more classical symphonic ones, songs were her thing.
I recommend the full version of Fantasmic if you can find it. It's Nightwish's homage to Disney.

I watched so many Nightwish reactions, I sometimes forget who's who LOL. But in case you haven't seen it, you should check out "I want my tears back" from there Buenos Aires show. The crowd is insane in the beginning and Floor just does her little jig all over that stage!
Finally found a good word that describes Nightwish: Adventure. The music makes you feel like you're on an adventure and the lyrics are written like an adventure.

So glad you all are back. You still have 3 songs from this concert to react to. On the bright side, Wembley 2015 is just around the corner. One suggestion: Research the back story before you react to The Poet and the Pendulum. It is an extremely personal song to the band, especially Tuomas, the composer and keyboardist.

"End of an Era" was the other DVD.. it was the end of original vocalist Tarja Turunen. The original Finnish band.. with the original Finnish singer.. performing before a Finnish audience in the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. This would be a good kick off tune.. Siren, Phantom of the opera, Slaying the dreamer and Wishmaster are must. That whole concert is awesome, so I wouldn't skip any songs from it.
Tarja songs should be first....I mean after floor they could be disapointed
@@pedjavukmirovic6770 I think if they are going to do reactions of an entire DVD/ Concert "End of an Era" is the natural choice.. otherwise your just watching Floor sing the same songs in a different venue. I think they would be better off watching specific performances of Floor from later shows .. like "Poet and the Pendulum", etc... on "End of the Era" they will see a lot of new stuff.. and even ones they heard before will be with the original band and vocalist. I think Floor does a great job of blending the classical style of Tarja and the belting style of Anette Olzen.. but Tarja has a "darkness" to her voice, and she's Finnish ( which is a bonus in my book).
