Also, we would like to add that these Escape Quest experiences are not intended to be a 1 hr or 2 hr adventure. There is enough detail and content contained in these items and their significance in the stories we love to fill many hours of exploration. Especially The Order Trunk! It’s that magical exhilarating feeling is what we strive for.
I just checked out your website! I didn't see any of that info listed. Perhaps you could offer some type of disclaimer stating that this isn't a traditional magical subscription box and that it isn't for kids, is so difficult that you may need to request a cheat sheet, and that it is intended to take many hours to finish.
I think these are a fabulous adventure that I'd be happy to spend days trying to solve❤

I can respect the dedication and hard work they put into making these boxes interactive for those who enjoy solving puzzles. An enormous amount of time must have been spent coming up will all aspects of the box. With that said, I am not a fan of those types of things. I get frustrated easily with that sort of thing and don’t find it enjoyable. 🙇♀️
For people like me, it’s nice to have some singular items sold if we were interested in a few things. I have bought something from them in the past that I found interesting that was from a past box without having to purchase the entire box.

I love the Trunk of Requirements boxes but this last one was especially fun.
Peter the feather key looks to me like the astronomy mini game in hogwarts legacy. The cut outs are the star pattern needed when you look through the telescope and you must find the right constellation to complete the challange
I think you need to patch de feather contour to the stars and the tip will be pointing to something
Absolutely love subscription box openings, but this one is super fun! Funnest part is watching how genuinely excited you get as you figure things out 😊 The further along you got, i was thinking that they shouldnt make it so hard b/c like you i would also get frustrated eventually giving up

The C on the egg means Colloportus which is the locking spell.

A person should not be discouraged if they can’t solve this puzzle in an hour or a week or a month. No one is timing you. This is your beautiful Harry Potter puzzle to enjoy and decipher.

(I'll start off by saying this is all from just having watched the video and not from opening the box myself.)
This looks absolutely amazing. I can't believe how much time and effort and creativity went into this box. I LOVE puzzles, and I am pretty good at them, so I was geeking out the whole time watching. I may or may not have been shouting clues at the screen while watching. 😂
I do know not everyone has a puzzle brain, though. (BTW, you can be super smart without having a puzzle solving brain). I don't think they should make the boxes easier, in my opinion. BUT considering many people don't find puzzles easy, I think they could include like an extra envelope that says "I solemnly swear I am up to no good" (or something else clever) with a few extra clues for those that can't get the puzzle. That way, you don't leave anyone lost and confused about the box and not able to finish the puzzle.
The items in this box alone are ridiculous in the best way. Thr cryptex that can be reused, the color changing potion, the astronomy map, the egg that can be reused, etc. Just top-notch high-quality products.
I would 100% get this box if I could afford it. It's so so cool.

That box is cool. It reminds me of a breakout room where you have to find the clues to get out of the room. They are a lot of fun,

I love seeing Peter getting excited over opening this stuff, but I’d be like him in the frustration at not figuring it out (my ‘old broad mind’ has its limitations apparently). The thought that goes into these boxes is amazing. 🇨🇦
moving the Queen to the checkmate position corresponds with a symbol on the other side which also matched the shape that the quill pointed to on the star chart. this particular symbol alchemically represents a certain element that is also connected to a certain celestial body in various mythologies due to the colour. The modern name of this element is a six letter word and given how many other times this element featured in the various aspects of this box including the egg it was magnificently crafted.

The cylindrical puzzle is called a cryptex.
Love your videos, Peter. I'm sorry this proved so difficult. I love puzzles and escape rooms. I kept talking to you and telling you to do certain steps. I think i would love this box. Really cool stuff.

Cool shirt. I made a pumpkin carving of the same cover. It got stolen by the end of the night on Halloween. I guess I should be flattered that someone wanted it that badly lol. This box is too hard for me but the items are nice. Have a wonderful day Peter!

I submerged my egg 😂 And it opened lol! So i got my pin but couldnt open cryptex until I watched this. I got frustrated but in a good way. I love the challenge. This was my very first box and i thought it was brilliant!

I had the word for the cryptex correct, however I kept turning it, and that obviously did not work! So irritating! And it made me doubt the word, and so I kept on looking. Thank you for finding out that I had to pull the cryptex to open it😅😂❤ This was a cool box! And all the items are such good quality😊

Can it be used to read the backwards words inside of the egg? In the video, when you direct the concave face of the magnifying glass towards the camera, it shows an upside down image of Peters face. Can it be placed in such a way, to change the direction of the letters/words?
The item you pulled out that had the spinning letters on it. That is from The Da Vinci code. I find it odd that they put it in this box. Because I don't think Harry Potter stuff had anything like that in there. But the fact that they've used something from The DaVinci Code the movie with Tom hanks. Kind of baffles me just a little bit
Something similar was used in the Hogwarts Legacy game, I think that's why it was included.
Great eye for detail! DaVinci’s Cryptex had 5 letters and used white rings, and he as well as Isaac Newton both were speculated to be a part of that secret society with that book series. And Newton himself would have knowledge of DaVinci’s Cryptex. There are additional details included in the page torn from the Curiosities book included in the Trunk.
I think a cryptex fits right in with the aesthetics of the Wizarding World. It would look right at home on Dumbledores desk imo.
Dan Brown ripped off the idea from Thomas Jefferson who invented it in 1795. It was called the Jefferson Disc. There was a refinement by Étienne Bazeries in the 1890s which the US Army further refined into the M-94 which was use from 1922 to 1942.
This was really hard to watch. All that hard work and frustration for very little payoff in my opinion. You are so polite Peter because you seemed so frustrated. This style box may be cool for some, but I wouldn't say this is really geared toward a Harry Potter fan.

I was waiting for your video for some hints…I definitely got stuck! I put the egg in the hot water instead of the potion and it opened for me but it was definitely a lot easier with the key, lol!

Very true, there are many details among the pieces and documents that add more context and nods to different characters and aspects of the stories.

The box looks great, but the spelling mistakes on the printed sheets really put me off. One jumped straight out in the yellow text above the spider, and then loads on the decription sheet.
