Iâve never really had an interest in having a pet hamster until finding your videos! The few hamsters Iâve seen irl have lived in those small plastic tunnel house things or in a cage and you could hardly ever see them! Seeing your little poppets exploring and digging and enjoying the fun enclosures you create for them is wonderful! Iâve always thought hamsters were cute but hadnât realised how inquisitive and fun they are too! This avatar theme is amazing! Youâre very creative. I canât imagine being able to hold a theme in my mind strongly enough to be able to create something so complex as this!

This cage is beautiful! I love the colors! It looks like Kashi was swimming when she went under the blue carefresh and came up the other side! Hehe! Those flowers are so intricate! Do you have to worry at all about her pouching the little jewels you have in the cage?

The cage looks amazing, as always. It must have taken a long time to plan and set up. The new blue Carefresh is pretty. The shade resembles water far better than the paler blue. Your paper flowers turned out so well. Hammy Time has such great ideas and creates the most incredible items for her hams. I love the water fall. I love that Kashi stripped the bottom of it too đ. I hope Kashi is enjoying her time on Pandora. She looks like she is having fun. She looked super cute with a bottom full of dirt đ. About the waterfall.....haha strangely enough Kashi is awake as I'm typing this and she's STILL trying to reach up and rip more of the waterfall off. đ She's kind of obsessed and I keep finding the pieces in her nest. Oooooh sheâs gotten so big already!! We have a golden hamster too and she couldnât squeeze thru those horrible tubes/cages they brand hamsters for. She could barely move so i did more reserch and found how wrong it all was. Immediately made bin cages and linked them together and sheâs gotten even bigger! She is the sweetest thing, I am so glad youtubers like you have reached so many others to give hamsters a nice life. Iâm guessing within a few more years, pet stores will have to take those colored tiny cages out of their stores! Keep up the great work!!! Kashi is so happy! đ
I just lost my hamster 3 months ago. It was so heart breaking because he was only a baby I donât know how he died. I got him from the Mspca 3 months after I got him thatâs when he died. His name was Chester. Seeing you do videos about Kashi reminds me so much of him and it makes me so happy to see that Kashi is being so well loved by a wonderful owner like you. I think this is one of the most beautiful natural looking cage themes. đđ±It all looks super tropical and im just stunned. This is soo beautiful. Thats sooo awefully creative of you to make an Avatar theme! I cant believe the movie was made in 2009, i feel like it was 2012 or something hahah. đ Oh gosh! Kashi is really one lucky hammy!đ And she does seem to be able to swim hahaha! She even went diving into the water!†5:51 is the most breathtaking part of the cage. Its so beautiful! People can really learn from you! Unbelievable how you made this. For me, i would be able to do this, but only if it fits the personality of the current hamster id have. I have one hamster who always pees in his nest, i need to clean his nest every week because its soaked. I could be able to make it work with that hammy but its harder. But my campbells Ace and Dash (if they didnt live together) they would be perfect for such cage. They dont dig in bedding, they dont pee in their nest, only in their wheel. So that means i would only have to change the bedding underneath the wheel once every 2 days (they literally go to their wheel to do potty and then go back to sleep). But yeah, i would only do this type of theme if i knew my hamster would really benefit from it. Maybe that sounds weird. But i downgraded mikki to a bin because he seems to want a simple cage. He only wants his food water,wheel and sand and a comfy bed. He really doesnt seem to enjoy having a big cage. Its not like he doesnt like it, he just doesnt seem to care for a specially set-up cage for him. So im keeping the detolf free for a robo maybe soon, or a syrian. If i would put mikki in Kashi's cage, he would literally make a nest close to the wheel, and if the sandbath is too far away, he will not use it. He is silly and lazy! Thats why i downgraded him, he seems happy enough in a bin! Not sure if ive talked too much again but oh well! đ maybe it sounds weird what im saying. But sometimes you just gotta work with what the hamster prefers and wants and likes. A big cage full of toys might work for one hammy but another will not need that much stuff. Thats what ive noticed. As long as the cage is big enough (minimum requirements) then its all good. I have no idea why ive said all these things. Theyre not relevant at all haha. I also understand just what you mean about customizing each cage setup for the hamster. You seem in tune to your hamsters' different needs and personalities and that's really great! It's true that some hamsters prefer different things and not every hamster feels comfortable with huge spaces. It can help a lot to keep the cage "busy" with a lot of different items to hide under, this way they don't feel vulnerable in open spaces. My hamster seems to be the same way, but I just upgraded him to a detolf like 2 days ago...so it's still fresh, right now he's a bit freaked out and made a nest right under his wheel lol!! But I know within a few weeks he will be all over the place...he sounds a bit like your Mikki, but I would never downgrade him, if he doesn't use some parts of the detolf then I don't have to clean it up :D hehe, I want my pets to have big homes!

Simply beautiful. I always love it when I've decorated my hamster's Detolf cage with an all natural look... for like a day or two... and then I get bored with the bland colours, but now I might just have to sit down for five or six hours and make some of those lovely little paper flowers! My Merlin isn't really a big chewer, so I think it'll be worth the effort. Again, amazing job! = ) Oh, and I was just wondering what the colourful pebbles were. Are they those acrylic stones that you can buy for fish tanks? I love the idea of including those in the cage, and they sell them in a lot of stores near me. Thanks.
I totally hear you on getting bored with bland colors! I've found that adding in the pillows of green reptile moss helps to add some bright green, and the paper flowers definitely add color too! Even though they take forever to make, it's strangely therapeutic. I hope your Merlin doesn't ruin them haha! Those colorful gems are plastic and they are from the fish section at Petco. They're really beautiful, although they do get mixed into the bedding so you'll have to be careful to fish them out when cleaning the cage. Thank you for replying. I'm actually in the UK and many stores sell those gems for fish tanks, so I know exactly where I'm heading the next time I'm in town! My bedroom is very colourful so these paper flowers will be perfect for adding a splash of colour! I'm mega excited to start making them (I'm very artsy anyway, and I too find things like that therapeutic). I don't think Merlin will ruin them, he's a good lad, haha. Oooooh sheâs gotten so big already!! We have a golden hamster too and she couldnât squeeze thru those horrible tubes/cages they brand hamsters for. She could barely move so i did more reserch and found how wrong it all was. Immediately made bin cages and linked them together and sheâs gotten even bigger! She is the sweetest thing, I am so glad youtubers like you have reached so many others to give hamsters a nice life. Iâm guessing within a few more years, pet stores will have to take those colored tiny cages out of their stores! Keep up the great work!!! Kashi is so happy! đ

I just lost my hamster 3 months ago. It was so heart breaking because he was only a baby I donât know how he died. I got him from the Mspca 3 months after I got him thatâs when he died. His name was Chester. Seeing you do videos about Kashi reminds me so much of him and it makes me so happy to see that Kashi is being so well loved by a wonderful owner like you. 5:51 is the most breathtaking part of the cage. Its so beautiful! People can really learn from you! Unbelievable how you made this.
For me, i would be able to do this, but only if it fits the personality of the current hamster id have. I have one hamster who always pees in his nest, i need to clean his nest every week because its soaked. I could be able to make it work with that hammy but its harder. But my campbells Ace and Dash (if they didnt live together) they would be perfect for such cage. They dont dig in bedding, they dont pee in their nest, only in their wheel. So that means i would only have to change the bedding underneath the wheel once every 2 days (they literally go to their wheel to do potty and then go back to sleep). But yeah, i would only do this type of theme if i knew my hamster would really benefit from it. Maybe that sounds weird. But i downgraded mikki to a bin because he seems to want a simple cage. He only wants his food water,wheel and sand and a comfy bed. He really doesnt seem to enjoy having a big cage. Its not like he doesnt like it, he just doesnt seem to care for a specially set-up cage for him. So im keeping the detolf free for a robo maybe soon, or a syrian. If i would put mikki in Kashi's cage, he would literally make a nest close to the wheel, and if the sandbath is too far away, he will not use it. He is silly and lazy! Thats why i downgraded him, he seems happy enough in a bin! Not sure if ive talked too much again but oh well! đ maybe it sounds weird what im saying. But sometimes you just gotta work with what the hamster prefers and wants and likes. A big cage full of toys might work for one hammy but another will not need that much stuff. Thats what ive noticed. As long as the cage is big enough (minimum requirements) then its all good. I have no idea why ive said all these things. Theyre not relevant at all haha.

I also understand just what you mean about customizing each cage setup for the hamster. You seem in tune to your hamsters' different needs and personalities and that's really great! It's true that some hamsters prefer different things and not every hamster feels comfortable with huge spaces. It can help a lot to keep the cage "busy" with a lot of different items to hide under, this way they don't feel vulnerable in open spaces. You sound like you're doing just what you're individual hamsters need and that's great! :) Thank you for watching and leaving such a nice comment! Have a fun weekend!
My hamster seems to be the same way, but I just upgraded him to a detolf like 2 days ago...so it's still fresh, right now he's a bit freaked out and made a nest right under his wheel lol!! But I know within a few weeks he will be all over the place...he sounds a bit like your Mikki, but I would never downgrade him, if he doesn't use some parts of the detolf then I don't have to clean it up :D hehe, I want my pets to have big homes!

Kashi New cage themed is so beautiful and let me start by saying Kashi is so so so lucky to have you as her mom I wouldn't mind living were Kashi living. So much space to run around in. And the colours are so beautiful. I really love the new carefresh colours. I'm really going to bye so for my đč Beauty. You outdid yourself this time with the cage. I really wish you could come round to my home and build me a cage like Kashi. It must have taken you a long time to do. All the fine details beautiful. I've nearly finished My home I've just got to do that the tidying up now. I've still got more decorating to do next year. But it's getting there. I really have so many things and all my mom things to I'm giving some of my mom things to charity and my stuff I've already given a load of clothes to them. I doing all this work to get my đ because my support team said I've got to declutter my home before I can get a cat so that's what I'm really doing. Hopping Hammy I went to cats protection yesterday 2 see the cats I want to adopt. I really want to adopt the disability cats the older cats. And I saw to đ yesterday Ralph and Wolfie. Simply beautiful. I always love it when I've decorated my hamster's Detolf cage with an all natural look... for like a day or two... and then I get bored with the bland colours, but now I might just have to sit down for five or six hours and make some of those lovely little paper flowers! My Merlin isn't really a big chewer, so I think it'll be worth the effort. Again, amazing job! = ) Oh, and I was just wondering what the colourful pebbles were. Are they those acrylic stones that you can buy for fish tanks? I love the idea of including those in the cage, and they sell them in a lot of stores near me. Thanks.
I totally hear you on getting bored with bland colors! I've found that adding in the pillows of green reptile moss helps to add some bright green, and the paper flowers definitely add color too! Even though they take forever to make, it's strangely therapeutic. I hope your Merlin doesn't ruin them haha! Those colorful gems are plastic and they are from the fish section at Petco. They're really beautiful, although they do get mixed into the bedding so you'll have to be careful to fish them out when cleaning the cage. Thank you for replying. I'm actually in the UK and many stores sell those gems for fish tanks, so I know exactly where I'm heading the next time I'm in town! My bedroom is very colourful so these paper flowers will be perfect for adding a splash of colour! I'm mega excited to start making them (I'm very artsy anyway, and I too find things like that therapeutic). I don't think Merlin will ruin them, he's a good lad, haha. Once again, well done on this gorgeous theme. You're definitely my favourite pet CZcams channel. = )
