This really made me think...🤔 Be quiet and listen, then respond in a mature and thoughtful manner. So important!

I realized that when Im triggered and I respond in my flight or fight mode it impacts my communication.
My over-talking definitely is affected by the way I’m being heard. I have to change my communication style for the defensive listener that lacks empathy. This is my trigger for not using my words. Then over talking. ( Saying I’m not done.)
Listening on both sides are required. There is no room for clarification when a statement are made and the listener heard incorrectly.
I have lots of communication issues depending on verbal and listening communication style.
Remember in communicating there is a sender and a receiver. At any point, there can be a disrupter.
If you felt ignored or abandoned as a child good luck.

This right here is🔥. I applaud your transparency and self-awareness. It took me years to recognize my triggers and I would just shut down instead of being open. Your statement is on point and I love what you stated right here, "Remember in communicating there is a sender and a receiver. At any point, there can be a disrupter". That is 100% Truth. We are all a work in progress including myself. I also continue to strive to be open to criticism and improve my listening and communication style. ✊. Thank your or your perspective and support! ☺

I think moving forward the best thing to do is for women to be accountable and to call out other women on their dysfunction.
I personally think the start of this was men not holding women accountable for various reasons. It could of came from guys feeling inadequate and felt like if they can’t give their woman the world then they will turn a blind eye to her flaws and hopefully she’ll do the same. The other is guys not holding women to a standard so they can have sex with them. Things eventually got out of control because of the lack of healthy boundaries and it’s a tough task to tell spoiled, narcissistic adults that they’re delusional.

I agree and I am beginning to think it is far too gone.

Malcolm X said the black woman is the most disrespected creature on the planet! My personal issue with the criticism of black women is that she seems to be the placed in the spotlight of the global platform in such negative degree beyond measure with pressures of such grave social accountability! My disclaimer is yes one should learn from any type of criticism. However why should black women held to the accountability on a global platform when everyone else is being excused for their poor behavior??? No matter the plight of black women there doesn't seem to be a haven for her or her children. In my opinion the dispositions of black women enlarge are being used as an escape goat that enables others to water down their poor behavior. I say this not to neglect or give a deflection for black women who don't handle criticism well, but to say if everyone is being criticized why must the black women be held so accountable? This is a great topic of discussion. Thank you for opening the conversation. And yes we should all be open for criticism and corrections of poor behavior.

I understand your point, however, you just proved "MY" point. This may have been the case in the 80's and 90's however in 2023 Western Society Black women have been out of control. From my observation, all races are being held accountable and called out on their bad behavior but when we are held accountable we will present an excuse instead of addressing the behavior and making changes. I want to reiterate addressing the behavior and making changes but instead, we deflect and talk about others not being held accountable. We never really just address what we are doing. Even when other black women call each other out, we come for them, when black men say something, we come for them. No one can say anything about black women. Our EGO's are so inflated we don't even see it. There is Power in Victimhood and we are Utilizing that Power to the fullest. Thank you for the exchange, providing your point of view and for your support!!!

The fact that you see being held accountable as a bad thing says a lot. No one is suffering like the BW so yes it’s BW that needs to do better , like what
