In hopes you see this comment, I was very upset to hear the news of the end of russkaja. The war which is going on, which has resulted in people turning on Russia, and has resulted in innocent people being targeted because of their cultures/backgrounds. I for one will always be a fan, I have not changed how I feel about the band, I believe the band does not symbolise hate or war. I believe their music is them enjoying life and creating a great fandom and love for "polka-metal". I will always stay a fan, my view on the band will never change and I still keep my fingers crossed to one day see this band live.
This is news to me that Russkaja broke up, how sad. I saw them years ago deep in the forrest in Dumfries and Galloway at Knockengorroch Festival and they blew my mind. How sad they've decided to call it a day. I hope they get back together asap when all this bullshit is over. Cancel culture is a cancer that's tearing the west apart!.

I learn this morning that the concert I wanted to go to from Russakaja in Paris has been cancelled....due to the dissolution of the group. I read the statement and like many I can understand their choice unfortunately given what the band is going through. However, would we have imagined just once that we could act in this way with a very Anglo Saxon group from the USA or UK (or others, the list is not that big) involved, in so many wars (Vietnam, Iraq, Afhanistan , libya, chile, serbia, malounias, cuban embargo, granada island and so many others.... all the crap that we can hear non-stop when it comes to orienting opinion. Tennis players are asked to publicly affirm that they do not support the war when they have nothing to do with it and that Saying something so serious can also get them in trouble. Never have we been so virulent against the "free world" when it caused death and suffering on all continents for interests. This group had a singer of Russian origin, Austrian group, with texts at the antipodes of the war, any war, and declarations against the current conflict but even that was not enough. I obviously have sadness for their members, their fans...but also anger and resentment against these purveyors of "freedom" only when it serves their interests and their "double standards". But also against all those stupid morons who, a year ago, didn't even know where Ukraine was on a map and became ayatollahs of righteous thought, forgetting that many, many people do not support the ( all) wars, nor their leaders who just manipulate us. This group has ceased to exist because bad people (on both sides in this conflict) have acted and others (indirect lackeys) are stupid enough to relay this by doing a witch hunt. Farewell Russkaja,

People just wanna go on witch hunts, even if they're hunting those that are literally the antithesis of what they claim to be chasing. I really hope one day Russkaja gets back together. I'm sure they'd kick it out of the park in SA.
