- Today on the show, we have with us the Iron Lady in the truest sense Kalpana Saroj. She was born in a Dalit family in Maharashtra & her father was in the Indian Police Service. Kalpana Saroj also known, as ‘Kalpana Tai’ is a survivor of Child Marriage, domestic abuse & she even committed suicide after her divorce. She reincarnated herself at an early age by taking up a job at a Fashion Export house in Mumbai & became financially independent. This first step changed everything for Kalpana & since then there was no turning back.
It was a true honour for me to interact with her. The aura she carries with her is full of positivity & she is very humble in her way of life. She opened her heart & shared everything from her childhood to her taking over Kamani Tubes. Her journey is so inspiring; every Indian female will resonate with her.
We touched upon her battle with depression, how she committed suicide & faced a backlash from society. Her pillar of support was her Father & Uncle who supported her during this tragic phase of her life & gave her the wings to fly higher. shwatch this episode to know the inspiring story of Kalpana Saroj only on Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
