It's a travesty that Cadillac Blackwing models do not sell in far greater numbers than they do. They are such great fun to drive and make you feel so much better about life than any of those overweight, oversized SUVs that plague the roads these days. "Be grateful something like this still exists!" Spot on Mr M and fantastic review as always.

@@rdollie1 That's because they make them (the Blackwings) in limited numbers. If they made in mass numbers, it would be a different story, which is why the sedan market, at least by American brands- have for the most part disappeared.

Probably etty sure I’d purchase/lease this over a respective BMW M model. I rented a regular CTS 4-cylinder turbo powered (275hp) w/8-speed auto sedan on 17” wheels w/225 section width tires a few years ago, & was totally blown away by how well that car handled, so can’t imagine what this one’s like! One omission in your video review - manual transmission versions feature titanium connecting rods (free revving) vs. the standard iron/steel connecting rods that come with the 10-speed
automatic transmission (which is actually a pretty awesome gearbox; rented a Camaro SS with said gearbox couple years ago, & it was awesome!)

I don't think combustion engines well fade out entirely in favor of EVs. Too expensive for too many buyers, many of whom buy used cars.
However, I believe hybrids will become more commonplace.
This is a good car, mostly because it's a great sounding V6 manual.

After seeing your wonderful review of the Cadillac CT6 Platinum 4.2tt Blackwing a while back I had hoped you would give the newer & smaller CT4-V Blackwing 6-MT a review.
Having a few BMW "M" cars myself I was able to snag an almost identically optioned as your tester Cadillac CT4-V BW Collector Edition VIN# 0025 (with the additional Exterior Carbon Fiber 1 & 2 Packages & optional Sky Cool Gray leather interior) and I absolutely Love it!
So Thank you for confirming my decision Not to buy another car just for it's Status & Premium names sake like the BMW "M", Audi "RS" or Mercedes "AMG" which are All fine automobiles.
But to buy a car based on it's content, the sum of it's parts and perhaps even it's potential collectibility but most importantly How it makes you FEEL...

The CT4-V BW is a V6. If you "wanted the V8" then you should've picked the CT5-V BW which is a V8 with 668 HP as opposed to that overrated Lexus thats only gots 472 HP with a lousy 395 lbs of torque compared to the BW which has 659 Lbs of torque.... YOU clearly made the wrong decision. And for the moron below you who was talking about "reliability" well its funny that he mentions that because the blackwing is built by HAND by ONE person and then autographed from the one person straight from the factory so its basically a built motor. In addition to the block, the forged crankshaft, forged connecting rods, forged pistons, and lightweight titanium intake valves are also shared with the Blackwing's motor. Doesn't get anymore reliable then that. But even The CT4-V V6 will CRUSH the IS500 EASILY... On the other hand Lexus is just a TOYota. LOL. 🤷‍♂🤣

Well its Quicker/Faster than a M5 Cs, AMG 63S, A hellcat and a GT500....COUNTLESS Videos on youtube PROVE this so its really not up for debate and the best part these other previously mentioned owners admit that the blackwing SOUNDS better! So Unless you got 6 plus figures to blow (Which i'll admit you look rich lol) on some type of hyper car like a R8 V10 Plus Or a GT3 RS, THIS car takes the cake and besides ALL those other cars i mentioned (other than the hyper cars obviously) EVERYONE and their grandma own one....Blackwings are RARE. They BARELY make a few 100 units a year.

I am surprised that we have not seen more of an Alfa Romeo presence on the channel. The only true Alfa Romeo video was the 4C model which was approximately nine years ago. Perhaps some MotoMan recognition is what the Alfa Romeo brand needs at this point.
