Never been a huge fan of the God aspect of the channel but regardless I agree wholeheartedly, he’s a fantastic man with an awesome family. What I appreciate most is how accepting and appreciative he and his family are of other cultures. You don’t often see people who are as open minded and respectful of others as rob and his family are. And while I agree with @Shade Tree, it doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a respectful, model human being, and as a counter to him I’d add that kindness and respect are free, they aren’t tangible but they still mean a lot.

My Grandfather was originally from the Abeco islands and I remember as a little boy he caught groupers that were so big that if they didn't cheat a little bit , they would never had got them to the surface under 3 hours so since they didn't have electric reels in those days they would drop quarter sticks of dynamite in the water to stun the groupers into a state of shock and submission that was the only way they could get them up out of the water at such deep depths , and i really enjoy your videos especially when you clean and cook your catch now as much as I can remember your pretty much on point with the recipe like my grandmother made her grouper dishes , but one thing I do remember about her grouper chowders and soups , she also added some chicken broth to the pot try that some time and see how you like it , and I think its awesome how you share everything u get with everyone and that's being a real Stewart of God . May the good Lord continue to bless you and your family

Jordan is worth his weight in gold. I just love him. I've watched this very young high schooler turn into a man. He had had some of the best hands on experience with Robert, and you can tell he loves him like a brother. I'd say Jordan is definitely a brother to Robert, adopted or not, Jordan was chosen and has never let him down. It will be hard to say goodbye to Jordan when he makes the decision to move on to do his formal education or to rejoin his family in his homeland, but I want him to know I think he's an awesome young man. Crazy. First one seemed already dead because of that.
It’s called Barotrauma, it’s effectively the Benz which is affecting the fish. As they are rapidly pulled to the surface their eyes and swim bladder expand this happens because the pressure they are used to is dramatically less towards the surface compared to the normal depths they swim at. Often the fish don’t actually die from this and they can be saved if they were returned to the original depth quickly. Unfortunately there isn’t an effective way to do this so in most cases the fish do die when this happens.
Robert, if you "acid wrap" the rods you use the electrics on they will fish so much better, you could almost hand hold them.
