Maybe you could have had the chain hanging with a weight attached to weld it straight?

This is the most conflicted I have ever been about a video.
On one hand it’s really cool and impressive that he made a chain axe

The fact that he was able to restore a old, rusty, beaten up axe head back to perfectly working condition is fanominal, I personally wouldn't even have the commitment to be able to saw through the cable at 6:41 with a bowsaw like he did. My dad had an axe with a metal handle
And there was one time when a hurricane was about to come and we had go cut some of the branches of a tree so it won't fall onto our house,my dad decided to use the axe but he couldn't sharpen it with a power tool so he just took a file and filed the axe for 10min straight and climbed the tree to cut the branches . Absolute madlad
