CrossRC from AliExpress has been about 1.5-2 weeks to the Midwest. From the North American based distributor it's under a week. We have a few CrossRC products including the JT6 which is a 6x6 flatbed and it's long enough to carry a TRX-4. That new flatbed is tempting with the bullnose Ford cab. I personally own a barn find 84 F150 bullnose. We have the CrossRC Emo X3 which is the 1/8 scale tow truck with the bullnose cab and we love it. CrossRC deserves way more attention. They're overbuilt in all the right ways and bring a unique and affordable product to the community.
Cxd is a sister company to Wpl. Cxd has been established by Mr Huang that is a co-owner of WPL. Those are scale 1\16 RTR cars. Really nice and detailed if you're looking for that. Beetle goes along well with VW bus released earlier this year. It's fully proportional, runs 2s li-ion and 130 motor.

i watched videos on the vw bug and it runs surprisigly well its got super smooth throttle and pretty darn quick for what it its would be a super fun little indoor carpet racer
Wife,Daughter and I all pile in front of the TV to watch every night during the Olympics don’t know what half the sports are but they are fun to watch. Also the TikTok’s from the athletes in the Olympic village are gold! RC water polo would be interesting to see

I saw one of the Cross rc flatbed emo's in person at the drive in a couple weekends ago. Guy used it to carry his snacks from concessions. Pretty cool rig.
What does that mean? They scaled down all the electrics from the 1:1 vw? Or does it have the same power to weigh ratio as the 1:1 vw? What is proportional electronic?
@@jiveturkey365 toy grade is full turn and full throttle. Hobby grade, the further you turn the more the wheels turn and the more you pull the trigger, the faster it goes. They output is proportional to the input.
I watch the Olympics, but not the regular sports they show on most channels. I like seeing rugby, handball, mountain biking, skateboarding, and table tennis. Also, seeing Kevin Durrant and Lebron dunk on teams repeatedly is pretty funny.
I’ve got the CrossRC nt6 emo and I love it. Drivetrain is odd since the carrier bearing is on top of the middle axle. But 2 speed and locking difs at that price is hard to beat. Springs are quite stiff out the box, but loaded down it does great.
The DS and the original Traxxas 4-tec were two of the cars I raced back in the mid-late 90s. I still have my 4-tec, but I'm not so deep into nostalgia that I'll pick up the repro DS.
I haven't cared about the olympics sine the 80's. You and Matt should have done an olympic themed monthly mayhem. I would love to see an RC javelin thrower or something along those lines.
Crawler Canyon is doing a series called Crawl-o-lympics where his rigs are competing against each other on his crawler park. Oh and it's the best home built course in the US by a large margin....

I’ve been watching the Olympics mainly because my mother in law has dementia, and this is one of the few things I can put on that’ll keep her occupied while I watch over her… makes me appreciate how incredible human beings actually are… I can’t do ANY of this shit (anymore… I used to breakdance😊)
I had one of the Associated Dual sports back in high school, was a cool platform. I would imagine with better electronics and tires it would do really well. If it wasn't for Snoop running the torch, I wouldn't have known the Olympics was on.
I really like Cross Rc. I think they are very overlooked. The Emo X is a great platform. I really like large scale stuff so anything in 1/8 is better automatically than 1/10 for me. The bigger the rig the better and more realistic the action it seems to me.
I dabble watching the Olympics but my wife loves them! I'm all for throwing an average dude into every event to give us perspective. RC event: 400 meter run but you gotta run with an RTR Ryft. If ya roll you are disqualified.
Yup, us Europeans we love Volkswagens as we've seen a lot around us growing up. And to get a good RC one under 50$ it really is a bargain😁. Usually at this scale, for that price you won't even get a static model...

I could care less about any sports, unless it has a motor involved. Nascar is dead. I hiked 7 miles yesterday in the ozark mountains at a 2.7 avg pace in 100 weather.
I don’t think there is ever enough 6x6’s, they just start to need making them bigger, and they need to start making them with the stretched beds like the Velocoraptor. I’m pretty sure Cross RC has one like that. I would totally do a build on the TRX 6x6 hauler if I had other body options.
So...Cross RC. I ordered my Wrecker in February and didn't get it for just over 3 months. I emailed the distributor back and forth the whole time and one of the things he told me was, Cross got sold and is going to a new owner. He said parts support would probably suffer a bit because he hadn't heard what the plan was for the new owner.

We are the Olympics! Two people, taking care of 2 dogs, a son and nephew(both autistic). Meanwhile trying to have our hobbies(RC/Gaming), put food on the table, roof over our head, and the lights on, with a disability income. That's an Olympic Sport on it's own. Compassion in this world isn't completely lost though, we've found people in both of our individual hobbies that have been kind and generous enough to help us along the way.

First one I can remember is the one from LA in 84, mostly due to the jetpack been flying inside the stadium. I was 8 at that time. Mind you I'm in Norway. RC long jump and water crossing distance with 3000mAh pack would be fun lol

rc tank with airsoft shooting mini's whom are trying to get away as an Olympic sport. I used to be a coach working alongside other coaches whom had athletes that would go, but I've been out for almost a decade so haven't watched much anymore and completely forgot this year's opening.
I rarely watch any of the Olympics unless I'm sitting at the bar and that's what happens to be on the TV. I work in a sports bar and haven't seen a single TV turned to the Olympics yet this year. If the USA baseball team is doing well we'll likely get some requests for their game, otherwise pfft.

The long jump is a pretty easy one. Triathlon: dirt racing, amphib to crawling. All the same vehicle, don’t get to change any parts during race.
