Yeah I agree with you. I used to like the Omega big boxes but eventually after realizing it only collects dust, and now I also prefer this packaging with a travel box. It's so much more useful.
No bracelet option as of yet. I spoke to the president of Blancpain north America and he told me that rubber strap options are coming later in the year. There are already some NATO options which can be purchased at the Boutiques. But regarding a stainless steel bracelet let's hope that something comes out of it in the future. I agree, bracelet looks and works usually the best.
I managed to grab one too. Wasn’t cheap but I was happy to do it as Fifty Fathoms LEs generally hold value very well so it felt safe. However there’s speculation atm that Act 3 will be a standard production 42mm model - I think this would be a real slap in the face to all those who bought the 70th anniversary and forked out the extra $4k or so for a platinum rotor etc. lol. Value retention will absolutely tank as well 🙄
I really enjoy this watch tremendously and very happy that I purchased it. I plan on keeping the watch so not really concerned about the resale value. I doubt that Blancpain will do a regular production in this seize though. If they do however, I think the demand will be through the roof and thus the resale value will also be higher.

That is a clone of the Certina DS P200M and comes with the metal bracelet, which tells me that the Swatch group is borrowing models and movements from its brands

Astonishing! The only sad thing is they don’t have a bracelet for that, do they? Mil-spec looks so much better on the bracelet than on the strap.

Gorgeous watch! I've always loved the Fifty Fathoms, however, the huge size was a disqualifier for me. Very excited about the 42 mm!!!
The 42mm wears more like a 41mm and is the perfect seize imho

Yeah this then the swatch collab in 42mm I think it’s all trending to a regular 42mm version release but maybe that’s just wishful thinking

Yes it is, the Milspec. I bought the bracelet separately. I plan on doing a review on that watch as well, when I get the time eventually :)
