Elvis taught every musician after him to be cool. He showed the coolest cats what can be done on stage and how to do it. Elvis invented cool in music in the last 3000 recorded years of music, none was cooler, non was a betta playa. Elvis had more plays than the NBA and the NFL on a given night. He was so smooth even velvet submitted. Clean and new and so smooth. There will never be anotha playa like Elvis, and by playa I mean he loved EVERYONE and gave everyone a chance to feel love ... black, brown or white. His echo will never die.

Love your reaction my grandma and mom were huge Elvis fans I fell in love with Elvis in 1996 I walked in my grandma and mom were watching Loving You and I fell in love. He was so handsome. I stood there with my mouth hung open in awe. So they took me to Myrtle Beach SC to see an Elvis impersonator he was amazing not as good as the real Elvis but as close as I could get in 96. They paid for him to kiss me on the cheek I thought I would die I can only imagine and dream of kissing the real Elvis

This was for fun. He had very serious moments though and played an active role in the Civil Rights Movement. In Texas, famously the Astrodome tried to get his own management, Tom Parker to talk Elvis out of bringing his black female backup singers. Elvis let his manager and the execs at the Astrodone know that he WAS bringing his black ladies and if they had a problem with it -- NOBODY COMES including him. Elvis won that argument and then he drove his Sweet Inspirations in an open top car around the entire Astrodome field --- all of them together waving to the people!!!! Elvis changed the game. No more black only entrances to venues after Elvis took a stand. Then there was the MLK Tribute against his manager, advertisers and NBC execs. React to this next! Elvis and i were friends for 10 yrs. up until his death. I was a kid from Memphis how we met was a series of events that i will not go into He wanted a friend and so did i we were that for each other. i asked nothing of him and he asked nothing of me. Elvis did not make friends easily because more times than not they wanted something from him. And as for parker all he wanted was money. Elvis was very ill his last time on stage he begged parker not to make him do it because he didn't want anyone to see him that way but did Parker care oh hell no. Between Parker and the so called Dr. Nick they killed the best friend i ever had in my life, i will always love and miss my friend. love to you from the one and only Memphis Tn. btw i got kisses from Elvis as well.
