Tried it today! It takes time for color to stain the eggs! Wait at least 30 min while they are in the cream, and when you take the eggs out u should wait 45 min more before wiping them! Mine were still realy pale, but the effect is nice and sprig like❤❤
Uses crap hipster ukulele music tho. Also according to others who did this, eggs don't turn nearly as good. Plus shaving cream isn't edibile, so that means eggs dyed with it aren't either.
This works so much better if you remove the shell before you dye them! They look so pretty! If you don’t want to remove the shell then use darker colors like blue, green, and purple! But I’ll warn you, the shell will come out pink instead of blue, green, and purple.
Do not do this! More than 13 people at my easter party got sick because the shaving cream absorbs through the egg shells and tastes like shaving cream. You can just use regular food dye or dye tablets in water and it'll turn out better 👍🏻
Yeah do not eat the eggs if you did this. If you haven't done this yet, just don't. Any egg dye bought is safe, so eggs are edible and it will also work way better.
🚨WARNING: NOT EDIBLE 🚨 Not sure why the is video doesn’t state this! Since the shell of an egg is porous the ingredients of shaving cream can get into the egg itself making it inedible. DO NOT USE THIS TECHNIQUE IF YOU PLAN TO EAT THE EGGS!

I did this this Easter. Worked perfectly for me. I was pleased.
These are so cool!! Trying these tonight with the kids!
Great video! Right to the point no drama!

Make sure to dry it for at least 30 mins after putting them on the paper towel, or 45 mins for good measure uwu
I started with running the eggs through boiling vinegar before putting on top of the dye.
Did that make them take the colors better????.
the reason?
I figured the dye would adhere better, but it didn’t make much difference.
Going to try this!
Gel food coloring works the best
Happy Easter❤️ 💕
The eggs are not they color of the shaving cream?? Pink eggs with blue dye???
I noticed that too. Suspicious
We tried this, let the eggs sit in the mix 3 hours and it barely colored them at all. ☹️
I'm trying vinegar on the bottom, shaving cream is floating, going to immerse the egg then cover with the shaving cream.
We're gonna try this tonight wish us luck 🥚 🐣
it seems easy!
This is really cool. Can you still eat the egg after you done?
berryluvz yep. Its just a fancy boiled egg
Use whipped cream instead if you want to eat them.
JAH LOVE that's a great ideal! Thanks!
Yes you can.
@@jahlove8153 I used shaving cream and was still able to eat them. The shaving cream doesn't get through the membrane of the egg.
why you put ice did nit get the idea what you wrote pls explain?
it just to make remove shells easy not make colour better!
Gillette. The best an egg can get.
Why was I waiting for the Gillette advertisement to shoot across the screen. Safe enough for an egg, safe on your face. 😂😂
It didn’t work for me
Me neither

You’re not supposed to eat It boo
Didn't work for me and I've tried it twice...oh well...
Wendy A. Make sure to dry it for at least 30 mins after putting them on the paper towel, or 45 mins for good measure uwu
They used different dyed eggs in the final part. Pink egg came out of green dye? I don't think so

it's not edible though...it'll taste like shaving cream cologne :(
Just crack the shell, and eat the egg. That is simple. Have you ever eaten a boiled egg? Do you usually eat the shell?
The shaving cream.doesnt get past the SHELL they are eatable 👍🥚
@@zeno7386 Actually it does. The shell is porous and chemicals will get through, do not eat these eggs
I wonder if you can use whipped cream?
Eggs would not take any dye. I wasted a whole afternoon
Omg I cringed when I saw two primary colors mixing! 😅
God, I wish my problems were so few that mixing primary colors would make me cringe, lol
@@d.watson5412 I agree lmao as long as my son is happy I don't care what colors they use 🤣
Total crap. Washed off the eggs and they’re white...wasted my time and disappointed my kids.
this is a waste of time the egg came out the same ...
Don't eat them!
You'll be sorry!
Ummm, should those be eaten? The shell is porous and shaving cream isn't edible. I would do this with plastic eggs only.
Fyi, wear gloves. Otherwise your hands will be dyed for ages.
This was such a disappointment. It basically took one color from the mixture and after wiping it down it was pale at that
Don’t waste your time
