Diana seriously has a heart of gold. The way she's beaming and genuinely smiling while dawn shares the story of how Tom and her got together really got me. Shows what a selfless person she is.
I know this is "The Minimal Mom" - but I don't think of this channel as Dawn's "stage" as described (jokingly) in the video - I really feel that Diana and Tom bring their own magic to this "show" and I consider this channel "an ensemble cast" where all three get to shine in their own way and provide entertainment, wisdom, and knowledge that complements one another. Other channel creators would be wise to follow Dawn's lead and share the stage with others in their lives who also have so much to give to the audience.
Keep shining - all three of you are diamonds!

I agree. Since the VERY BEGINNING Dawn says "us" and "we" ALL the time. It's her subconscious speaking to us, that she's supported and supporting. So subtle and graceful. Always a joy to share time with you all.

When my husband and I were dating, I remember my mom asking if we were serious and I responded by telling her he was just a friend! It’s a really good idea to marry your best friend. Even after eight years I still miss him! I was so blessed! We also did soooo many remodeling projects on our house and we worked so well together!

Since I watch on my smart TV, I almost never make a comment, much less read them. But today I wanted you to know that I enjoyed this 'recap' sort of video and appreciate the work that must have gone into editing it! I am not a minimalist but I have decluttered and downsized when I recently (a year ago?) moved across several states. I now am living alone as my husband is still living and working in the same old town/state. Even though I'm much older and have not much in common with you, I so enjoy watching your videos and yes, I feel like you are my you are my younger friends.... And I especially enjoy your Sunday faith messages. Keep up the good work!
What a great video! I'm a 73 YO retiree who lives alone, and it's so wonderful to see a family that communicates so well and truly loves each other and shows it, and have a little fun along the way! It's like visiting with friends each time I see you all. Thank you for your family friendly content. So refreshing in a time when people are being so unkind to one another.
What a cute love story. My hubby is 7 years younger than me and it. took me awhile to go out with him. He was always like ‘age doesn’t matter. I finally started dating him and we will be celebrating our 36th anniversary in August💕

I just realized something today. I found you during this lockdown due to the plague. You have been my weekly friends during this time. I’ve learned so many helpful tips from you, but most of all, I have enjoyed your company. I am a widow and my son passed away when he 24 as the result of an automobile accident which was 26 yrs ago. My parents have gone to be with the Lord and so have all my aunts and uncles. My brother lives 4 hrs away, so I have been very isolated. You all have been a ray of sunshine in my world. I am not surprised that you have done so well. God is blessing you for your faithfulness. Praying His favor over you today as you bless so many.🙏

Hi Guys! I’ve been wanting to reach out for some time now... I have been following you for quite some time now. I am married to Jimmy with 3 little girls Sophia (7), Lillian (5) and Tori (3). 2 years ago today (just realized 🤧 as I’m typing this) I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It was about a 10 months process of treatment and surgeries but I am proud to share I am now cancer free! 😅🙏🏻. I have to tell you I felt so out of control, my world was flipped upside down and just beyond overwhelmed with my ‘new norm’ coupled with being a mama of 3 small humans. So in that time, I discovered your channel which I was quite new to “youtubers” and just fell in love with you and your way of life. It made so much sense and I knew this is what I needed to work towards to free up my mental space so I could handle ‘all the things’ life throws at you. You have taught me so much and I have to say you have brought me so much comfort, laughs and entertainment throughout this recent battle of mine and continue to do so!! I spread your gospel to all my mama friends who are hanging on by a thread like the rest of us. I’m so grateful for you taking the time to put together these videos on a consistent basis and always with a smile on your face! I feel like we know each other haha. Life sometime seems so stressful, but I am so blessed in so many ways. I’ll be going in for surgery in a couple of weeks and this whole COVID thing makes it a bit scary. Keep doing what you’re doing ❤️

I do think the hospitals are equipped with the right kind of ventilation and they are certainly taking all the precautions, but I would be nervous too, honestly. I do hope everything goes well! I need my knees replaced, but I haven’t been quite well enough to have it done yet. I’m sure everything will come out good for you, but it’s just the unknown that we don’t like. My friend commented the other day that quarantine has been good for me… Even though I actually go to work every day, so I haven’t actually been in quarantine. I have had my yard relandscaped and my house painted and I have completed little decorating projects and decluttering. And I’m keeping my house a lot more tidy throughout the week, which has been a struggle in the past. Thanks for your encouragement!

I'm reminded of my parents....very ingenuous...could look at a project....and, usually figure it out, and did.
Dad was AMAZING with tools....whether it was car related...home related...garden related...he did it all.
Mom...great with the decorating...painting....trimming the bushes...wonderful cook....and, AMAZING seamstress....together, they reupholstered a sofa 4 times...NOW, with 3 kids...a dog...later, a cat...that's LONGEVITY sofa wise.

I just recently "discovered" you all and am so happy that I did. There's so much on youtube that is so negative and discouraging that it's nice to see a couple/family that is so enlightened and content... not just "happy", because "happy" comes and goes for everyone, but is CONTENT in their lives and are so willing to share it to hopefully bring others with them to a more beautiful life for themselves. I'm working on minimalizing, DIYs, and becoming more faith filled, and I'm loving all the support channels like yours gives me. Thank you.

I absolutely love y’all! I find myself looking forward to your videos. I have been de-cluttering my house & life since October 2019. It certainly has been challenging but oh so rewarding. I have suffered from depression & anxiety for years. I am breaking free from it & feel like I have my life back. The clutter no longer owns me. I have finally gotten my family on board. I often refer to y’all as my friends from MN, even my husband says it,lol. I am thankful God gave you the gift of helping others. We may never meet but you hold a very special place in my heart.
