- Following RFK Jr.'s decision to suspend his campaign and to endorse Trump, ABC 10News Reporter Tali Letoi spoke with local independent voters on their reaction to this announcement.
Why ABC wouldn’t mention that he’s dropped out in the swing states and endorsed Trummp????
We are still on the ballot in all but two swing states I think. But Kennedy’s trying to get himself off the ballot in the rest. I hope he can’t do it. I support Trump over Harris but primarily I support RFK Jr forever, regardless

When you are ostensibly running a Independent campaign that promises change, it is obligatory, because of the makeup of your supporters, that you reach out equally to both other camps, regardless of what you already knew would be the response based on policies or views promoted by your campaign. @@user-th6eu8qu9m because according to the data it will not make an impact on the outcome of those non-swing states. They will still either go all blue or red. However, if he just gets 5% nationally then it establishes them as an official political party (federally) toward the next election. This means it will be harder to suppress them in the media and they also get other advantages like federal funds the next time around. It is basically the best chess move one can play in his position. Hope that helps.
Also there is a chance if the electoral votes are split down the middle that he can actually become elected president. At least that scenario is more likely than him winning states 😉.
Keep in mind that his primary goal of preventing the DNC from obtaining power is still preserved with this move. And if all Trump voters in obvious BLUE states would vote RFK it would return the favor and also benefit third parties overall with no consequence.
