I am sure you must be very right but that means we are the most useless, unwanted people because others use us, giving nothing or simply false hope and when their need is over. It is not simply ghosting but they spout such venom and in many cases, become active enemies.
Gratitude is not expected but this is so soul searing. Especially when they are also your flesh and blood.
