I recently did mine.Evidently MB put out a recommended max of 7 litres for M104 to keep it just under limit on dip stick

Hi, I would only use a good quality and good brand oil. It will be better for the engine and the oil will last longer. It is like eating mcdonalds or home made food.. Which is better for your body?😜
