    Thanks for the lovely video Dani and Sam. It's great to see your chook set up. ❤
    I'm also curious about your reasons for moving from quail to chickens. Our area is much smaller than yours, so have considered quails more suitable for us. (Plus the kids heard someone say quails are the Guinea pigs of the avian world, so that was another a big thumbs up!)
    As non-poultry keepers, shared experience from lovely folks in the same region is very welcome!

      Thanks for the kind words Steph! We originally had quail, but unfortunately a rat killed all of them over the course of a few nights, which was pretty heartbreaking. We didn't feel able to protect them so went with chickens as they are able to defend themselves. If we had an aviary we were confident could keep rats out then we would feel more comfortable getting quail again - they are very lovely animals
