Hyde yelled at Holmes ,which caused the Yankee dugout to yell at Hyde. I'm sure Holmes didn't do it intentionally. It's over reaction on both sides, plain and simple. Heston seemed ok, all things considered , but you never know with the head.

Regardless of intention, to miss THAT bad and hit someone in the head and potentially cause injury, you can GUARANTEE someone one the other team is going to either suggest that you do a little better job at controlling the zone or flat out tell you you're an awful pitcher. If you're so soft that you can't take that off the chin and accept that in the moment you in fact suck and nearly killed someone because of it, you don't deserve to be a professional.

Lets start with I am a yankee fan, hope Kjerstad is ok. In no way was this intentional, holmes is not a pitcher that intentionally hits guys let alone on the head. It was raining the ball slipped it happens. Also, why would he put another man on to load the bases with a 3 run lead and 1 out

This dude started everything yelling and cussing at Clay Holmes. Holmes did not mean to hit the dude. It obvious that it wasn’t intentional. This guy 🤦🏼‍♂️

Holmes could’ve apologized and shown a little concern like any somewhat decent player would. Not like you scumbag Yankee fans would know what a good manager is like lol

Dude…these guys are getting paid millions to put the ball in a small strike zone…I can see a pitch up and in on the hands or chest but getting beaned right in the ear-hole is pretty suspect. Intentional or not, Hyde had every right to react the way he did. Imagine having a coach that had zero reaction to one of his guys taking a head shot against a divisional rival? You gotta take up for your squad…regardless of if it was intentional or not. And in the press conference he said wasn’t pissed at Holmes…he got chirped at by the Yanks dugout while checking on Kjerstad, which would piss me the f*** off too

This is the third game in a row the Yankees have “retaliated” for Judge getting hit. They have hit 11 orioles in total this year. A player got hit in the head and their dugout is chirping. But yeah “this dude” started everything. Get a clue.

@@twasfunkyCome on! It was all theater. It was not intentional. A manager trying to get his team fired up. Anytime a player gets hit can be a disaster. Someone getting hurt in 30 player pile up is dangerous as well.
