In the grim darkness of the 42nd millennium, there are no happy endings.

"I want to address some things for those who want to know;
This wasn't, and isn't, supposed to be the end.
Just as a spoiler for what was supposed to come next so I don't leave anyone suffering for however long;
in the next part, the surviving party would have, against the odds, actually gotten a hold of the Proteus Protocol and proceeded to revive Kitten through, as established, questionable means. It would've led to some pretty permanent-looking brainrot on Kitten's part, but, hope would have been rekindled.
And in the very next episode after that, he was also meant to finally, finally, finally return to the throne room...
... But not before a third yugioh special with the Void Dragon.
The third part will not be released despite it honestly being quite close to finished.
It was meant to be released about a month after the release of this part but my son was born so I kind of had to take a break...
But with the situation now, other than needing to focus on starting up new projects and the lack of motivation,
it also, in a horrible way, felt kind of apt to end it here. Sorry.
This is all going to be on hiatus until we see the zero-tolerance policy altered and until we see ourselves not entirely attached onto a single license as we have been.
This was not a smart thing. It never was.
Now, EP30 Part 1 and 2 have existed on Patreon (for free) for a few months now, as you can see on the upload date.
The reason why I hadn't uploaded them publicly earlier is because the plan was to start experimenting with Part releases on Patreon (again, for free, no pay-walling) and then transition into doing it on CZcams. I know many tend to be averse to change, so I didn't want to start releasing significantly shorter pieces of a full episode all willy-nilly.
But now, change has become the norm on this channel so, like, y know... fuck it.
If you want to see what will be worked on next, I will try to be very transparent about my working process and posting regular updated on Patreon (for free).
Transparency is important. I don't want this whole stunt to look like a grift for money. I honestly expected everything to drop across the board after this announcement due to sheer disinterest. I had made my peace with that.
The fact that the Patreon instead fucking exploded has shocked and straight up frightened me and it has made my need to perform scream like a giant bat.
So, I want to do my best with it and I desperately hope people don't look at this and see it as me trying to scam people because fucking GOD NO I want to make internet videos not dedicate myself to a state-of-the-art fraud scheme holy SHIT

Seriously, even if it is the company's legal right to do this, its so crappy, pointless and petty. They had no business doing what they did to all these fan projects. They did nothing but HELP the company, they were labors of love, and like Nintendo before them, they decided to can it all, ruin everyone's fun, and threaten entire livelihoods with no recourse. At least SEGA had a good method of dealing with it in a satisfying and awesome way, when they hire on fans to work on certain projects and generally arent as trigger happy.
@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 Yes the amount of * NEW * fans that TTS and other fan made projects have brought to the Warhammer universe as a result.
I think the Deceiver and all his shards are meant to represent the writing staff of GW: constantly trying to keep everything spinning, making sure only a specific narrative is followed, keeping things that are TOO overpowered out of the way somehow.
This show has some great meta jokes (i.e. the Ultramarines can never lose) so I think that's the direction they may have been going with it.

BUT this series has a sub-series as well about the Tyranid invasion which is three episodes and a lone episode "The Shadow Over Immateriums" too. and of course, there is the vox series as well not all of them but most of them are really good especially these episodes if nothing else: Russ plays a 'Small Baby Game' with the Dark Eldar, If the Emperor had a Podcast - Episode 2: The Black Templars, Dorn's Angry Boys, Day in the Life of Boy & If the Emperor had a Podcast - Episode 3: Inquisitor (Draco), The First 40k Novel which the last one animated as well.
I now you said you wouldn’t be reacting to Warhammer as often now, but I still like to recommend the hilsreach series for y’all to check out one day

Yeah, this ending was a punch in the feels. As rough and unfortunate as this ending was, I'm glad you got to experience it.

Please do the vox logs, they're short and not only very funny but also have good story bits. Particularly the Lemus Russ one. Regarding the podcasts: they're long, we get it. You could cut them up and get more videos out of them, or just skip them, but I really hope you don't. The first one is not great, because when is the first of anything ever? But the later ones are REALLY good. The black templars gives Dorn some great character growth, The Last Church is about one of the best short stories in the 40k setting, and if we all have to know about Inquisitor then so do you. Also, Inquisitor has Magnus and Mancclesiarch Decius as guests, so it's even better.
I really hope you'll try Hunters: the Parenting.

Tahril is speaking to the Deceiver, one of the four C'tan who survived the War in Heaven, the cataclysmic conflict between the Old Ones and the Necrons, which wiped out the First Ones, devastated the galaxy, and affected the Warp until it became the kingdom of chaos.
In the new background the C'tan were torn into pieces by the Necrons and turned into their slaves. In ancient times they were gods of the physical world. Gods can fragment parts of themselves into autonomous entities, including chaos gods with each demon being basically a separate extension and given its own identity of the god in question.
Draigo's defeat of Mortarion was a meme for a while, written by the same person who elevated the Ultramarines to perfection. Over time a story emerged about that event that made Draigo less absurdly powerful and his victory more credible and hard-won. Draigo was later cursed by a transformation lord to always be trapped in the warp, but since demons are part of the warp he can sometimes escape briefly during demonic raids and thus fight the demons on the material plane instead of in reality. warp.
Malys had an encounter with a mysterious entity on the webway, after winning a wit contest she was rewarded with her heart ripped out and replaced with the heart of said entity. She eventually pointed to Ceogorach as the mysterious entity.
The Deceiving seems to be trying to maintain the status quo at all costs, possibly a reference to how for decades the lore of WH40K remained unchanged for decades and when there were changes the galaxy was split in two by an apocalyptic warp rift.

You should react to Ravandil’s Quest and Chaos Descends by Karl the Deranged, one of the main animators for TTS. They have the same style of humour and animation, you’ll love them.

another Warhammer thing you may enjoy reacting to is Behemoth by Eliphas. it takes place in the TTS verse and is a very entertaining watch with some familiar characters making a return and it is a short watch (3 episodes). other than that i would also recommend the other series Bruva has called Hunter the Parenting
And that unfortunately is the end of TTS. Good-storytelling, quality writing, and fantastic voice work quashed by GW's greed. Here's to hoping you guys check out Bruva Alphabusa's new series, Hunter: The Parenting, for more of this AMAZING writing.

Thank you for this journey it was very fun watching you react to one of the best Fan series on youtube. While the chancen might be slim that you find time in your allready buisy reaction shedule, I'd like to recommend another series by the same creator thats still ongoing, use the same characters that you loved from tts in another universe and is once again a humourus take on a dark setting. So if you ever wanted to see the Emperor as a Vampire Hunter in our world you could check out the series "Hunter The Parenting" by the same creator. Thanks once again for reacting to tts and I'm sure i'll see some other series I like on your 2 channels soon giving the current track record 😄

In a horrible way, it's actually a perfect parallel to the ending to the series. Because GW killed it. GW Killed the Captain-General. It abruptly ends, never to be finished, reflecting the real world action of GW absorbing or mass-executing all Warhammer creators via threats of legal action. There can be no victor. No one is happy. I know for a fact that people play Warhammer because of this series, but... they didn't care. GW is run by these weird inhuman creatures who seem to have no idea how to interact with their fanbase.
